View Full Version : Radio Signal icon Pop-Up (Flight Mode)

Can anyone here please help.

On my previous ROM, when I tap on the Radio Signal icon, I had the option to turn OFF/ON the Radio (FlightMode), now I only have option of opening CommManager, this is quit USELESS as there is amongst others already a CommManager icon* on the bottom of the screen AND a DEDICATED CommManager hardbutton on my TyTN and after using CommManager I have to use X-Button to close the damn thing...

Can someone please tell me the Registry key where I can change this back to Radio OFF/ON... Or at least a shortcut icon I can put in HTC HOME plug. to switch Flight Mode ON/OFF without opening CommManager each time.

I flashed my TyTN (Hermes) with WM6 and I am very happy with it. Most of the little annoyances I had with it has been sorted out. Installed the HTC Home Plug, Slither200?s Cube, other 3G dialer, etc, etc...

*Any hack to get rid of this and the battery icon (I use Batty) at the bottom of the Home Screen???

I just LOVE this forum, some of the OLD guys are always sooo helpfull,
no flaming, no sarcastic remarks, only good oldfashioned honest HELP.

My Granny always said: Son, If you ask a stupid question, you'll get a stupid answer...

...but the thing is, I doubt that my original question was stupid, so is there anyone that wants to help me out?

Sorry for the bump, I just don't believe that nobody here can help me out with this...

I work long shifts and when I'm off I like to switch off only the radio, but the very easy two taps for turning OFF/ON the radio on WM5 now takes at least five on WM6,

and NO, I am NOT going back to WM5...

Any reg. hack for the signal bars icon pop-up
or at least
a shortcut to put on HTC-HOME
for switching radio OFF/ON ???

I thank you VERY much... VJVolubilis will do just fine for now,
Vijay555 has some very nice stuff. The VJLumos works very good
on my TyTN for the times I'm out in the sun.:D
