Do I need to unlock cid every time before flashing a rom?

I had unlocked cid and sim using lokiwid0.2, and I had already flashed a wm6 rom. Now I want to flash a new rom(only OS), do i need to unlock again before flashing a wm6?

My cellphone is MDA Vario , G3, ipl/spl is 2.26.
