i have this fone and as a security lock i selected 9999 now when it asks for my password it shows the first three 9's but will not take a fourth, i take it shows this due to emergency services! now when im putting in the password a timer is running down and it will not take the password i have given it

any help or ideads MUCH appreciated :)

short of either hard reset from boot loader , or reflash firmware, once security locks are placed in the software if they are corrupted or changed and forgotten you cannot bypass them.
if this is a sim card pin, then after 3 fails then will ask for PUK code of which you can get from your network provider

note: if hard reset or reflash all data will be lost, so hopefully you have sync'd with your pc at least 1 time and it backed up your contacts and basic data from my documents
