Downlod the latest ROM from Dopod site, be sure that you have activesync 4.5 instaled, connect your device to the computer and run the update. Your battery must be over 50% and don't disconect your device when the ROM update is running (wait until it is finished).

Yes you can, this one is the latest ROM update: ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Uploads/Smartphone/Cavalier/Shipped_Complete_Updates/Dopod/RUU_Cavalier_DOPODASIA_CHT_1.16.708.7_1.43.50.00_1 08_Ship.exe

BTW, you should check better on Dopod site, on the left side you have subdirectories for manuals, driver, ROM updates, etc.

question: it can be possible than i dont see the update because i registred to the site clicking on "i haven't purchsed it" because right now i don't have the s/n..so they don't allow me to access to the download area..it can be?

Do you have your device with you or you are waiting to buy one. Because if you have it, just remove the battery and you can find your S/N there.

You can or you can not?
Dopod Rom on FTP or Wiki should work fine!

Try hard reset, it will revert your device to the factory settings and might solve camera problems that is if you did not drop you device.

There's no official nor unoficial WM6.1 ROM for Cavalier at this moment.

if you need dopod wm6 rom than you can find it in wiki. s630 and softbank rom you can not find as nobody dumped them.
