Problem syncing with vista! help!

i ve tried a clean install on a cab, and different usb cables, what can i do?

Use something like sprite backup to save your PDA first and then try a hard reset to see if it starts working without anything extra on it.

If it works then chances are something you've got installed is causing a problem

i did install a new rom, (Duttys DualTouch V3 Final) , and havent installed anything extra on the phone, so nothing is installed

problem was happening before trying the fresh rom option as well.

Are you sure you're using the latest version of WMDC? I had a problem similar to this, but realised i was using an older version that was not compatible with the kaiser/WM6. And believe it or not, WMDC does not receive automatic updates :eek: (at least, not for me!)

The latest version is Windows mobile device centre 6.1 (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/devicecenter.mspx) I think.

Also, check to see if the usb to pc connection is unchecked

i had the last version of it, the old, uninstall and install again trick, did the job:)
