I know this subject has been raised before but mine doesn't seem to respond to the usual solutions posted here and elsewhere.
I was running TomTom 6 and it stopped working after my phone was unlocked as they loaded an old radio ROM that did not have GPS enabled. They then re-flashed it with 1.38.00.11, which has GPS enabled, but when I select NMEA, I get a screen saying:
COM3:
GPS in COM9
COM7:
RIL on COM6
S2410 IRDA
and it just sits there only showing a Cancel option. I have left it like this for hours but it doesn't pick up a signal, regardless of where I am.
Os version: 19.123.1.615
ROM ver: 1.23.61.5
ROM date: 01/25/07
Radio ver: 1.38.00.11
Protocol ver: 32.71.7020.12H
I have done the regedit bit, enabled the GPS settings icon and tried COM8 as suggested elsewhere but still nfg. Now what? :confused:
Please bear in mind I am not very techie. All help much appreciated.
