So far pretty happy with my kaiser, except for one thing. I have pretty quick fingers, but it seems like the device can't keep up. In writing texts I actually have to slow down to get all the letters- is this normal, and is there anything that can be done?

Disabling the auto-correction and suggestions made the keyboard almost respond in real time, if u type well you should try it.

I experience the same annoying situation. I like the suggestions & the auto-correct, though. I wonder if a bare bones (non-bloatware) stock at&t r.o.m. would help...or maybe one of the fast cooked r.o.m.s?

I get it too even with a fast cooked rom. I mostly get it right after flipping the keyboard out. There must be some more processing going on in the background other than just drawing the screen.

So what would it take to get this fixed?

Does anyone have any ideas?

i believe simply being able to type properly, and then not asking the pda to check for all possible typos and spelling mistakes on the fly!

Seriously, my PC cant always keep up with spell checking if you type full speed (well for me it can, as i cant type - i get my own back as i cant spell either!)

just turn off the auto complete and the like, and it "should" be *almost* real time. Unless you want to carry a laptop arround, nothing will currently make it work 100% (different ROMs and settings may help, and dpeneding on your typing speed, may make the problem so small you dont notice)

Sorry, but pda phones just cant do everything yet :( [goes to get his own beer - bloody phones...]
