Hi, I've had my Tilt for about a week now, and I've messed with HTC home and the customizer. I've manager to do a few things but I was wondering if their is anyway to make an icon, that will not only load Java, but Opera Mini 4. Since you have to open Java up first, i have no idea how to do this. I then want to make that shortcut available to my today screen or possibly somewhere else on the "desktop" Any help? Thanks! -Jeff

Yes there is.
Search the forum for the link.
I suggest search for Opera mini default.

Please DO follow ALL my articles! I've published several articles on this. See http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Opera%20Mini%204%3A%20A%20new%2 0star%20is%20born%20-%20the%20FREE%28%21%29%20Web%20browser%20you%20MUS T%20give%20a%20try%20to in the Wiki - from there, I've provided the right link to the tutorial explaining how this needs to be done.

I've actually read that, and been messing with this for about 2 hours without luck. One, I have Jbed.exe in my windows folder, however, whenever i run the .INK with 28#"\windows\jbed.exe" -run s0_ I get
"There is no application associated with Opera0.ink"
I also cannot determine which # to replace with 0, as I do not have any .jar files located in my Appdb folder. I have a tilt, so I'm not sure if the software on this particular phone is different.
I wouldn't post here unless I was having some difficulty, and after 2 hours my patience sorta lapsed. haha

Try it with .lnk instead of .ink :).

Wow, freaking awesome. FYI, just use the file that is in the "NoBrowserSelectionDialog" folder to add to the Windows/Start Menu/Programs folder. Then you can just select it in the buttons setting and have Opera Mini mapped to your IE button.

Hm, when I create such link, it says " Could not find suite s0_" In AppDb folder there is s0_..., have only opera mini installed in java. Don't know what else?
When I start opera mini from java, it works, direct .lnk file not :(

Nope, not working.
I had it working a while ago, and then didn't use it for a while. I flashed an updated ROM and now I am having the same issue. Help?

Got it working - remove any new lines after the command in .lnk file
