Read the card with your PC, save all the files on the PC first, then format the card from the PC and copy back all the data to the card.
You should be ok from there..

I have the same problem. First I had a 1GB MicroSD, yesterday I bought a 2GB of the same brand (Sandisk).

I think it's the encryption option of the phone. Before I copied my files to the new card I turned off the encryption, but all files had a .menc extension instead if it's own (mp3,wmv,wma,...). Also on my first card the photo's were stored in DCM, on the new card it's stored in My documents/My pictures/.
Also I noticed the WMDRM map in the root of the card.
Anyone can help us out on this?

Reason of the problem (found on the forum)

If i may add on to swiftblade comments,
the reason for the creation of "storage card" and "storage card 2" is due to the fact that all temp files and messages etc are flushed to storage card.

In the event you take out the storage card for a certain period of time where in the interim you receive sms etc, the ppc will detect that the storage card is not available and create a folder called "storage card",
When you finally insert your storage card, it will be known as "storage card 2". Hence all your mp3s and what not will not be detected as it will only search "storage card" which is a folder now.

What i've done is i've changed all temp files and messages to point back to their original locations, using sktools or memmaid should get the job done fairly easily. But this is just me, as i take out my sd card fairly often, and i've done my fair share of deleting the "storage card" folder since the days of the mini.

I didn't use memmaid or sktools...
Just use File explorer and go delete the storage card map... take your MicroSD out and reinsert it again... then it should work again
just don't forget the backup every files of the Storage card map before you deleted it and transfer it to the card itself if you there is anything in the map (like pictures, etc).
