http://rapidshare.com/files/85503892/nikikitchen.exe

OS Flash is tested ... Radio, Splash and SPL are untested in the moment! I do this soon.

The word Kaiser and Niki discripe a Device Type! The different are very low. Its more like, some Driver are different. I think, its possible to create a Rom, they will work on both Device! This make it easy for the First Niki Rom.

But the Base of the niki kitchen are files from touch dual?
So i can make my own "bistorage" rom without the need of more files?

And there is no need to alter something for 16 oder 20 key version?

well actually I know that niki and kaiser are names of two different devices..I was just wondering which were the differences between the two Roms..
anyway I see that they are almost the same, but the main thing is to make easier to cook new roms for the niki..and this is great:)

for bigstorage ... i must talk with a core developer. i think, if bigstorage works on kaiser ... it will work on niki too! both device are not realy different in the main component like imgfs/rom.

i will test this option in the next hours ...

about 16key version and 20key version ... this isnt a problem! a guy have test on his 16 key niki the 20 key asia rom and it works! i think both keyboarddrivers are included!

Ok, seem like I (Noobinoob) didn't get the point of "Bigstorage".

I always thought this simply means removing all unnecessary things
to get a big storage :p

After searching for Nigstorage i found thousands of threads with ROMs,
but no explanation.

Will there be no more free space i u simplay remove things?
Is there more to do? Or is Bigstorage simply a trick to use even more Space thats normaly reserved for something else?

OK ... i understand, what you want to know ... my english is very skill less LOL

Bigstorage means to change the Partition Size of the Rom. The Rom havent any space to store future updates via Windows Mobile Update Service. This save Space! If you clean up your rom ... dump useless option / Programm / WinCEServices ... you can create more space with the bigstorage mod!

The first Roms from Prophet, are without bigstorage. If you add Programms over the Original Rom Size, the Tools cant handle it and write errors. Bigstorage can resize for optimum space.

i doesnt know, if its correct ... i am not a rom modder but i know a lot about it.

Ok, so it would be useless if i make myself a clean ROM if i can't resize the
partition size of the rom.

First of all I'd like to say thank you for all efforts here to make a kitchen for Nike...which I hope I will have in my hands in a few days....

About the kitchen...wouldn't it be more useful to keep OEM/SYS folders away from Temp/dump_imgfs before cooking...I'm just saying this cause I find easier to add/delete packages before everything is mixed together in just one folder...I know I just could modify the scripts but I wanted to see what's the point of having it like it currently is... :)

Thanks!

These video's (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1968557) on how to cook your own Kaiser ROMS will probabely clear some things up. It surely did clear up a lot for me.

hi shimon - make sure you have hard spl on your device and then try netrunners link netrunner (http://www.4shared.com/dir/5678614/f5139b2c/HTC_Nike.html)

there are original roms per country and also dumped roms from nike users.

good luck !

I spent some tried searching in Niki and Kaiser forums and Wiki's. I cooked a few combinations of roms but I am just missing something. My goal is a T-Mobile UK Niki200 rom, but I have this last detail to iron out. I used a Dutch Niki200 with the UK raw files but the cooking resulted in a Niki100. I played with the htcrt.ini file in the HTC Rom Tool but still no Niki100. I would appreciate it if some could point me to a useful post. Thank you!

there is no difference between NIKI100 and NIKI200 in terms of ROM images, they are identical. The only difference is the device code in the NBH header. Edit it manually in HTCRT or use NBHGEN.

Thanks, I will give NBHGEN a try. As for HTCRT, I did update "Model ID:" to Niki200 on a few different releases for HTCRT inlcuding the one in the first post. However, in Settings => Indentity, I still see "Model No.: Niki100".

I tried HTCRT 1.0 & 1.1 and NBHGEN 0.1 with the below sample.txt:

NIKI200
SuperCID
1.35.110.06
WWE
400,OS.nb

On all tries, Settings => identity, shows "Model No.: Niki100". I now doubt that the Model No. can be changed when generating the nbh file. I read a few post that suggested hex editing the os.nb file. Does anyone know what tool I should use for this? Thanks!

You doesnt need to edit any thing!!!

If you want make a rom for Niki200 ... use the Niki100 Settings. If you read all Config Files you will see niki**** <- the numbers will be ignored!!!

I forgot to mention that I am trying to build a rom to put the phone back to exactly how it was when shipped. Several people including myself would like this option in order to qualify for the warranty.

Thanks
