I have already collected 3 different standalone radio versions. I will try to upload them today when I get time.

Maybe in this post someone could be so kind to put a tutorial or maybe a link to someonelse tutorial for "flashing" only radio part...
So the ppl can come here and have all the resources they need for testing

IMHO the post would be complete..and very usefull like the one you did for the New Guava ROM...and the Kitchen...but this is only my n00b opinion

Well, I guess nobody here looks into the Wiki: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=vox_radio

I didn't see that new part in the wiki ! Very good work!
I will add links to the other radios I have packaged.
I'm going to upload them to xda ftp right now

EDIT : Done !

nobody of us hasn't seen that part of the wiki...maybe cause it was a work in progress...maybe because i need a pair of glasses..or maybe bacause it has been just edited...(at least this is what the page says...)

But what is MOST IMPORTANT..THIS WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS MEANING...maybe a mod should update the first post...whith that link and with the RADIO ROMs for testing purpose..

Sorry if my reply sounded rude or anything, I only posted it in the kitchen thread that I have added that part lately. We still need a flashing how-to, so if anybody wants to do it...or edit/improve the other articles, feel free to do! :D

EDIT:
The Radios are here: ftp://xda:xda@ftp.xda-developers.com/Uploads/Smartphone/Vox/Radios/

hei..i think you guys are great!! XD you frauhottelmann ,Dr GOnzo and...lastOne..XDXD

so i wasn't wrong when previously I said that we didn't find the wiki section of Radio because It didn't exist yet @ that moment..XDXD

EDIT:
Just seen your work...beautiful!! I think the only thing that miss now is the SPL part of the wiki...that's a lot of material in the related post...maybe it is not necessary but a little guide concerning of what is what and why some steps are necessary..would be the easiest way to reduce n00bs like me making dumb question to you guys.

so which is the best recommended radio to use?.

K I am running Gonzo's 0.2.2 ROM and I understand I shouldn't need to run USPL to flash a new radio? If I don't, and start flashing it hits 77% and the "Image is corrupt". Can anybody confirm I don't need to run uspl to allow flashing of a new radio?

You need to run flash USPL first, I just did mine and it worked. Don't notice any immediate radio Rx/Tx differences, but we shall see over the next few days.
