Noticeably faster than other ROMS
Quick and easy first connect
I've never liked the 'green' theme but... OK I guess
Flash ROM is a really nice to have!
Wow it's fast...
No problem with 4Gb SD card
Phone works great with Radio 15... yet to try 18
Works with Motorola BT headset
TomTom 6 works great with external GPS
Don't have the problem with MS Reader that I do with some other ROMS (where it freezes if you rotate the screen)
Fast!! Wow..
Movies run nicely using Sompy encoded TCPMP
Music sounds fine with WMPlayer (don't have BT so can't test that)
SPB Pocket Plus runs fine (have had problems with other ROMS with that too)
Camera works great
Oh yeah.. nice keyboard

Mine Uni is Amena`s (SPV M5000) but, this is not from brand name... try to make a hard reset, first time when i start the camera from icon nothings happaned, I reset the device and then I pressed camera key and it works :)

another issue , is there any way to delete the extended rom contents everytime i soft reset everything comes back again.. i tried the unlock tool and still nothing happens , they keep coming back. (im talking extended rom not the flash disk.)

I don't know why my device can not use full ram capacity, but it really show me 64 mb (it show me 128 mb at first time start up, but after several times reset, it show me 64mb. :confused:).

I forget I could switch to auto detect 3g signal. But I don't know if the default setting is auto switching, if yes, I think it can not use 3g. Can anybody confirm this, use your universal with this rom to connect 3g??

ranju, do the actual wm6.1 core builds have anything else different from what this offers? in terms of what a daily user would notice....not talking about the changes made in the internals like "better speed, stability, security!" :)

so all your fonts look jagged and aliased at lower font sizes instead of looking crisp....

possible....but i honestly doubt the today screen.....I'm sure MS left it out for the PPC version, its too much of a hassle to change something like the "Today screen" which is such a core feature.....

Imagine the sheer number of plugins written for the today screen! Think about the compatibility, the way its to be handled blah! I'm sure MS wouldnt have bothered to rack their brains on that now.....would be too painful to handle all of it! It should be for the next major release of the OS....my guess :)

On the contrary, for the smartphone OS, its a very simple architecture and i guess there are only 10 plugins that have ever been made for it :P (All right, i'm being an ass in making this statement :P)

This is the fastest of all CE ROMs (no doubt) but there is 1 major problem, I am facing repeatedly.. *Camera won't start" !!
I tried the HW button and from the program menu as well But device tends to open 'pictures & videos' and then the screen colors gets inverted after 1min or so!
Any suggestions ?

Personally I wouldn't use the word fake and not even real. Meaning that, it's a hybrid build based on WM6 (with some replaced components from 6.1). As I mentioned earlier about the XIP, it's from 1938 build.

I have the WM6.1 source and fighting to make it bootable. The most problem I'm having is the screen aligning; I couldn't make it working yet and replaced the associated components with WM6.

Let's see what's next ...

Do not under stand any of the above comments. All seems to be working OK.
Camera icon in programs folder did not work so I just deleted it and used Total Commnder to create new one and it is now OK. Connected to GPRS after setting to provider. This is also first rom to pick up THB Bury bluetooth car cradle first time.

Has not caused lock ups and seems the fastest I have tried it also has good resorces left onece Touch commandeer has been loaded.

Just wish we could get Touch Home with decent size text and graphics. Unless someone knows different.

i don't know and don't care this rom is true or not but i appreciate what they have done .Try to be polite and respect who have made some thing free for us ,any way this rom is not the best but it still good....:D:D

It's a vanilla ROM. It doesn't have it.

Check PK's A P Black Dual v3.0 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=346221)at the Athena Forum, the cab is supposed to be in the ADDONS. Unfortunately, that SnapVUE version has been confirmed to run only in HTC Athena. :(

Ask tom_codon (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1685895&postcount=87) rom cook of PDAViet who might have tried it! Looks like our hope is our own Uni ROM builders/guru's, you know who I mean. :)

Message can't forward, dont have 2nd startup screen even i replace new welcome screen.

Mapking 2007 software after install can't use ! ( Any one can settle this ? )

You are rite & I can help you with only one of these problems:
You can forward any message by following these steps
i. open the message
ii. click on the sender's link (details of his contacts will open)
iii. click ok to go back to the previous window & notice that the message text has already been selected
iv. go to menu and the find the forward option .. enabled !!!

You can forward any message by following these steps
i. open the message
ii. click on the sender's link (details of his contacts will open)
iii. click ok to go back to the previous window & notice that the message text has already been selected
iv. go to menu and the find the forward option .. enabled !!!
