Can the registry be edited so the FM radio can be heard thru the unit speaker, not only thru the earphones? If so, what is thr entry? Thanks.

No need for such thing. Just tap the button with the headphones icon when you are in FM.

I know that the earplugs are used as antenna, but is there a regkey tweak, that you can at least try to turn FM radio on without an "antenna"?

Cheers

Erm. Why would you turn on the radio without an antenna attached??
Do you like listening to "shhhhhhhhhhh" on all channels?

Would this be the case? To "shhh" or not to "shhh", that is the question ... Would be worth a try, wouldn't it?

To turn on the radio without an antenna attached

HKLM/SYSTEM/STATE/HARDWARE/HEADSET change value from 0 to 1.

Ok, you doubters were right. No "shhh", but completely no signal as well. Pitty ...

Thanks travegliaesogno! :)
