[2008 WWE] Carty' Fastest ROM

Almost a month and no ROMs for 2008 yet? I've waited enough and this made me cook my own. Found that there are some OS 5.2.2000 builds for Artemis in different languages but as far as I and other senior members know, MS hasn't released such kind of a build and its just a fake. Even if it is true, there are no die-hard improvements in it. So I started off with a version that is stable and fast for Professional use. Version 5.2.1933

Removed every possible file that most wont require or the ones which can be installed anytime via cabs. No HTC Home plug-in, Touch Bio Scroll, Cube and all those crap which were bought out to market HTC' newer devices and their fantasizing period is over. Even Transcriber, MMS and other stuffs are removed. Maybe if you guys need them, I shall build another version.

-File System and other cache settings tweaked for better performance
-Email, attachments, Temp IE files all moved to Storage Card
-Security Warning Disabled

The perfect fast and stable ROM I waited for! The device works much faster now and its completely clean without any crap. It took me off around 80 hours to build this ROM. Because I was not a cook before and so learnt everything from scratch. Sat 10hours for 8 days continuously, made ROMs that never booted, almost bricked my device and finally made it. Big thanks to the kitchen makers and other ROM masters here in xda-developers.

I thought of removing Power Point alone which was taking around 3MB and none may use it. But finally left it. So the ROM has office for the professional use! Since most of the things were removed, I thought a screenshot may not be required. Anyway, I'l update the first post with a shot taken now.

Storage Memory: 51.45/56.80 MB Free
Program Memory: 18/50 MB Free

Dont matter about the Program Memory, it is due to the page pool optimized to run a lot faster. Many ROMs start with 26 MB of Free Program Memory but later leaks down to 15 and the device becomes slower. By ROM never went slower after a day of use and was still at the same speed. Maybe, I shouldn't boast. So will await your test responses.

Page Pool is 6MB but I'm not very sure. Voice Dial is removed.

I think I included a SDHC dll file but I'm not sure if it works as I don't have an SDHC card. Since this is my first ROM, I didn't include anything extra which I thought is not useful for all. I will watch for what people want here and build them in the next ROM.

Meanwhile, does somebody have a tutorial on XIP and SYS porting? I saw one on the Atom forum but that wasn't complete.

Liked this rom, loads really fast and has a good selection of software, but there is no support for foreign languages, namely russian. Russian input software works fine on the standard ROM, but with this fast rom the pda just wont boot up after the russian input installation.. :-(
