Is there a way to change the date format to mm/dd/year, right now its dd/mm/year?


I've looked in the User CP with no luck.

1.) go to settings
2.) go to system tab
3.) Click Regional Settings
4.) go to "Date" tab
5.) pick your short date format

lol...I'm talking about this site not my PC. My PC is already set to (mm/dd/yyyy). It's just weird how a USA/English speaking site uses a Non-American date format dd/mm/yyyy.



It would confuse all the new people that is used to the American style format.

You mean beside the fact that it's confusing.


What does this mean to you:

1/2/2008

If you are a foreigner, that would be Feb, 1st and if you live in the states that would be Jan, 2nd.


I think there should be a option to change it to month first then day, that way so we won't get it mix up. Every site I go to it's mm/dd except this one.
