doese skype works into the cavalier?

is it skype working into the pda??

Cavalier has Arm9 processor, and latest version of Skype needs Arm11 in order to make voice calls.
So, basicly if you install Skype, you will only be able to send sms - no voice calls (same problem with Hermes), but if you manage to find Skype 2.2beta, there could be a chance that it could work.

I tried the Skype 2.2 Beta on my cavalier (Dopod ROM). While it allows me to place phone calls, the interface of this version is all messed up on the Dopod making it close to impossible to use.

i have skype 2.0.0.51...

but dopod 730 doesnt allow to install it.

They point you to the 2.2 download now...

just copy the exe file from any ipaq version - i copied it from my HP - it works fine!!!

The latest Skype update works perfect with Cavalier.
