VOX Swiss ROM Update

Hello

I have just got my S710 from Switzerland. Actually i do not have any branding or SIM-Lock, except start-up and shutdown logos from ORANGE CH..I have 5 languages on my WM6 (German, French, US-English, UK-English and Italian).

Here my device info:

Speed: 201Mhz
RAM: 64MB
FLASH: 128MB
ROM Version: 1.28.72.2
OPERATOR Version: 22.128.5.722
Display Resolution: 240x320
Color: 65536
Model Name: HTC_S710

Radio Version: 4.1.13.51_03.07.90


Now I see there are new ROM files 1.34 version. Can I update my Vox with for example, RUU_Vox_HTC_WWE_1.34.405.1_4.1.13.54_03.10.90_Ship ?

What kind of problems may occur after ROM update?

If you have qwertz keyboard then use german version of rom "RUU_Vox_HTC_GER_1.34.407.1_4.1.13.54_03.10.90_Ship .exe" It is here on ftp.
But I thing that you must use Vox USPL- CID BYPASS because it is Orange branded htc, you have instructions Sticky on top of VOX thread.

Yes I have QWERTZ Keyboard, but use my WM6 as US English.

A couple more question..

My WM6 Standard Build is 17745.0.2.3. If I update my ROM will it also update my WM6 Build to the latest one?

and will i lose any of pre-installed programs after update? like Windows Live Messenger, Adobe PDF LE?

this update include adobe pdf le and windows live. And you should be able to select English in the rom while still having your QWERTZ keyboard.
And yes it will update your OS version to the latest one

Thanks all the helps and informations. I have applied German ROM without any problems, just losing French and Italian on Phone, but not important at all :-)

Now I have neutral HTC branding and no signature from Orange anymore.
