These screenshots are from a testrom I made for my Herald p4350

I will start porting it to Kaiser this week, and release it this upcoming weekend

i didnt hear that one. its not even being officially unveiled until feb 11th. Word is its not even going to start shipping until May at the earliest so it does matter

I heard the rumors that there wasn't that muany changes in the pro version. Couple little fixes here and there. I just hope the threaded SMS has contact pictures. The palm app doesn't have the pictures. I'm definitely going to try out this rom, just to see what small improvements there are. I'm not expecting much.

No offense to anyone else, but IMHO itje makes the best roms ever (it was such a disappointment when he left the Herald for the Kaiser). His roms are innovative then other chefs piggy back off of the work he has already done.

I definitely can't wait to get this rom.

I dont sit 48 hrs a day infront of my computer building roms. :)

Right now im rebuilding the bathroom in my house, and famely takes time, work takes time etc.
So im sqeasing in as much time as I can right now to release this rom upcoming weekend.

Im adding apps, removing stuff, making reg edits..and so on.

This takes time, and all this I need to do before I give you screens from the wm6.1 rom.

And also remember this is a ported wm6.1 sys folder, I have not yet extracted applications from oem.

I need someone who is capable of finding bugs, even help provide sollutions, not only present me with bugs and say fix it.

Hopefully I can release it saturday, maybe before. But that depends alot on help from beta testers.

Dont even bother to pm me if you dont have knowlege to provide real help.

And I might share my kitchen files to the testers who provide sollutions to ev. bugs. (Need to check that with my source)

This is not normally the way I work, but since I gave myself a timelimit, and I have alot of work fixing in my house, im doing it this way to provide you guys with wm6.1 the quickest way.

I might not answer pm's for many hours cause I have to work :)

I can beta-test. Not sure if I'll be able to provide solutions to ALL the bugs as that depends on the actual nature of bugs discovered but after spending so much time in these forums I've come across my fair share of bugs and potential solutions...;)

But of course I'll defer to the expert testers if 4/5 come forward and pledge they'll extensively test and commit to provide solutions. So consider me as a second-level tester please...

Why not make it an open beta? It's not like we're not flashing our Kaisers every other damn day anyway :) You'd get a much larger test pool and a greater chance to catch bugs.

That font should be available if you use HTC Home Customizer, search around for add-ons (icons, clock, backgrounds, weather etc ) and copy them across into the \Program Files\HTC Customizer\FILES folder...

Search for "clock" add-on which looks like that...I can't remember what its called now...

How did you get the black and white battery status on the home screen like dutty's? Ive been trying to find this out for sometime with no luck. Ive downloaded the battery status program from their homepage but it comes standard in rainbow colors which doesnt work with my favorite black theme i always use. Could anyone help with this please?

Threaded SMS actually works like a charm - I love it! It beats Palm SMS hands-down...biggest problem with Palm SMS is it hides/obscures the text box so that you can no longer see exactly what you're typing! the delay in 6.1's threaded SUCKS imo.. with palm it instantly shows up 6.1 has to load each msg when u send/recieve it unlike palm.. hopefully this lag issue is resolved by RTM/final time

what really sucks, and it might be with palm app as well, dont remember, is that if you install this app after you already have 100 smses for example, they are not being separated into conversations, they are actually hidden. it tells you you have 100 smses, but none are shown. and that sucks. does any1 have any idea how to fix that?

Im quite embarrased to say I have to delay release of this rom.

Im having problems porting the XIP.

The rom is working great, its fast and stable. And I was even surprised that the lagging in IE is gone.

BUT, since I have been unable to port XIP yet (and all those I asked never reply) there is a problem connecting to net, and syncing in activesync (connects as guest only)

I cant release a rom with that kind of bugs. :(

first rom now will be based on one of the official, but there will come another build, not the BETA one
