Just wondering if there are any ROMs out there that don't contain HTC Home, or Cube, or anything along those lines. Looking for a ROM that gives me just the "normal" (yeah, I know) today screen that I can customize the way I want it. Yes, I've downloaded and tried many of the ROMS that all have the "touch" feel to them, and I've disabled those components, flashed new dialers, changed color schemes, etc., but was looking for a "clean" ROM without those elements. Is there such a beast?
Thanx.

Try Q-Mobile 1.2 from Quentin. IMO the best "clean" ROM around. And it's fast!! :D

Dutty's old ROMs (No.6b and No.7b) have lite versions that are very good. I still use No.7b Lite with 32MB page pool.

Alex's UltraClean. Q-mobile. Etc. I am currently using Dutty's V2 (medium). No cube or anything. All are great ROMS - the "best" will be a personal preference.

Thanx for the suggestions, peeps. I've looked them over and I think I'll be trying Alex's ROM.

Remember there are some ROM's that only work with radio 1.27.14.09 so if you get great reception with this radio I suggest you stick with ROM that will work with that.

Surprising!! I dont see the "search and find yourself / its upto you" tone in any of the replies from the "senior" members for this thread opened by another senior memeber.
