AT&T Splashscreen problem ***VIDEO***

I wasn't sure people were understanding my current dilemma, so I made a video. This splashscreen has been there since my first attempt at flashing the rom, when I first tried putting HARD SPL on. How do I get rid of it?


Sorry about blurriness but I couldn't get it to focus after I started recording.

(I uploaded 2 videos...1 the raw footage, and the other a little messing around in Windows Movie Maker...just beginning Title and music added...as well as fade out in the end... enjoy!)

Will that get rid of Dutty's splashes too? I want to keep dutty's for now, just get rid of AT&T or replace it with something else.

I posted a clean HTC pre-boot splash ROM. It wont chage your splash's in step 2 and step 3, it will only change the very first splash screen.

It will not replace Dutty's Series Screen. It will only replace the AT&T "Test Only" Screen.

What about the other splashscren programs? I do i make it sot hat I can make my own splashscreen and change only the first one? I can't figure out how you differentiate between each splashscreen. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

I took the deathstar AT&T picture and renamed it to welcomehead.96.png and put it into my /windows directory, and it did not get rid of my "AT&T test only" splash screen. It overwrote the 3rd splash screen which was dutty's pirate picture, and kept the 1st and 2nd the same. I can't be doing anything wrong, read all of the other posts here. I'm at a dead end!

Click on my signature for my splash screen.

Run the exe in the zip file.

This will solve your problem.

I'm watching your thread, hoping for an answer, as I need to send my phone back to A T & T as the EDGE/EVDO does not work. Here's hoping for a clean splash, somewhere.
