Hi all friends...!
The frist i want special thanks to all peoples and donations in Niki Forum supporting me for get device and cook rom.
As promised.I working on ours Niki Rom.And it some pictures preview my work now.

Niki Project Rom v1.0 coming with Windows mobile 6.1
CE OS 5.2.19716 ( Build 19716.1.1.0 )
I got more > 30 mb free storage with Original Rom
Some update apps..
Edit Style with theme WM7
And more......

Nice one, this isn't based on no beta is it?

A (mildly stupid) question, if I want WM6.1 in another language, say swedish, am I to wait for an official release from HTC?

Oh and about the graphics help you needed.. what exactly do you need?

Once Tom pulls this off, he will be THE god of the Niki forum. (Of course Midget, jockyw2001, Olipro, cmonex, etc. are gods too.. LOL :D)

Jocky bro still working so hard in it.But nothing done for now.
In V1.0 rom without wifi,gps..
But i will often update rom.When jocky bro done it.We will have Rom with GPS,Wifi ..

I'm beta testing for tom. Everything looks gorgeous. A slight difference in speed (The programs-settings menu opens slightly faster). I need more time to test though.

So far I only found one small bug on Camera Album.

- The controls defaults to portrait and are not transluscent like before.
- and the slideshow controls are off the screen.

But it's no big deal.

Still hunting for more bugs! :)

I'm beginning to love this new ROM. The additional storage.. and the threaded SMS is just awesome!!!

Major Problem:
- Encryption of the Storage card cannot be unchecked! :eek:

Problem:
- Hibernate doesn't really do anything. It doesn't free up RAM. I don't think it works for the Touch Dual since I also tried using Oxios Hibernate on the stock ROM.

- WM5torage doesn't work. It activates propery and all looks well when you cannect it, but once you try to open up the "Removable Disk" on your PC.. it just freezes or asks you to format the drive :eek: I don't know if you need some special configuration for it but it doesn't work on stock settings.

Minor problem:
- I don't know if it's just me.. but the HTC home doesn't really blend well with the today theme unlike the default windows mobile 6.1 theme and Windows Default theme. HTC Home changes color with the default themes but it's just grey on the Niki Project Theme. I'm not sure if it's just a transluscent illusion or something.

- At first I was surprised not to find Running Programs tab under Settings -> Memory. But I guess it's now found under Task Manager. Problem is, you got 2 task Manager icons on Settings. You might wanna rename the other one to Running Programs or something.

and the USB to PC setting should be under Setting>Connections now its has been move to Setting>System, a bit mess up with the setting tools arrangement. well.. its only a test version, tom sure will get it done when officialy release its final version. :rolleyes:

Another problem:

- There is a severe lag when I'm typing an SMS. It takes a while before the letters I type in to show up. Is it because of the new threading capability? Kindly check it out. Thanks!

Hello.

I'm removing all the Blue from my Touch because personally I hate it haha.

All these splash screens are fantastic! Is there anychance someone could upload the PSD file if you have done it in Photoshop?

Or better still make a Touch colored version?

For the contributors, please take into consideration that even though the required dimensions of the splash screen is 320x320, only 240x320 will be seen. So focus the artwork on the 240x320 area instead of the whole 320x320.

If you want to watermark your name into it, kindly put it on the lower right (it won't be seen, but you still signed the image).

Btw, tom can also make fabulous designs. He made the blue skin for the Today theme, HTC Audio Manager and WM skin, so Im sure splash screens are a piece of cake for him. Tom wanted a WM7 looking splash screen and he provided me the images. It's basically his work, I just slightly edited the Windows Mobile into it. :)
