Im no noob. I flash these phones for all my friends always..this one was flashed and the dutty rom was running on it...three days later my friend returns the phone....

the whole screen is basically all white...you can see the slightly the interface and the background. the phone is functional but all the colors are all faded. what should i do? a flash? i tried installing the dutty rom again nothing happened. then i also installed.

that didnt do much. the phone just is acting up with that really pale color and totally white screen. is this phone dead? if it is then its going to just be ebayed.

I think LCD screen got problem. Hardware issue, flash will not help.

Your friend maybe did something to it like drop it and then is trying to push that problem on you like its your fault for making it do that and you will have to compensate, so just try what you can and if its still there, flash it to the original rom radio and then warranty it.

I agree w/tito, sounds like the phone got dropped and the display ribbon got jostled loose. Probably an easy fix, same thing happened to my old wizard, but opening the phone would void warranty. See if you can get get it replaced, but if not just pop her open and reseat the ribbon.

Yea, that sounds right. See if he is still on warranty?
