View Full Version : To Check the .NET CF version on a Windows Mobile device

Hello,

I hope you guys already know this, but anyway let me say once again !!.

Goto \Windows and run cgcautil.exe which would popup the version info.

On my latest cooked ROM on VOX, (thanks to Dr Martin) i have the version 3.5.7283.0 !!

The filename is cgacutil.exe

But note installing net cf 3.5 over net cf 2.0 doesn't produce any increase in speed.

Can anybody explain why it won't produce any speed increase if it will be installed over the older version?

thanks for pointing out. :-)

Even i do think a newer .NET CF wont speedup the OS. It may have certainly have great features for the apps written based on this new .NET CF.
