Hi sunny127:
Can you modify this program so that it can replace the word "Start" to the right of the MS icon instead of replacing the MS icon itself? It's weird not to have the MS icon replaced with a battery monitor icon.
Your program's option to be on the right side of the task bar unfortunately replaces the clock, which is very useful feature to have available in all windows of the wm6.1. Is there any way to have this battery monitor program create its own dedicated place in the task bar instead of replacing other icons?
In any case, if you can reconfigure the program to replace the word "Start" on the left side of the task bar, it would be a better option.
One more thing: Can you make a CAB file of this program so that it can be easily installed and uninstalled. I have used the earlier versions of another program called Batti by David Andres. The earlier version was just an executable file like your program, and I had to load it on the startup list. Unfortunately, one when I had troubles with my Sprint Mogul (HTC PPC6800), wm6.1 would not allow me to delete it out of the startup list. Then, I had to do a hard reset to get rid of it. Therefore, I am hesitant about putting any executable files in my startup list. I prefer a CAB file to do the job of installation, and have wm6.1's removal program tool in settings to do the job of uninstalling the program should I ever need to do it. Thanks a lot for your program.
P.S. You have a cute kid, and I wish your family the best.

1) It's also weird to replace Start. The start icon is a wasted piece of realestate.
2) In WM6, in order that Ariel Batery won't replace the clock, just make the clock Always visible in windows options, and move the Ariel Battery icon to replace some other icon.
3) There are other programs that will add a new icon instead of replacing one. It's problematic when you have phone calls or notifications cause there is no enough space on the taskbar for their icons.
4) CABs are for complicated programs. Ariel battery consists only from one file. It can be uninstalled by exiting Ariel Battery and erasing it's ArielBattery.exe.
5) You can create a link to Ariel battery and put the link in the startup folder instead of putting the exe.

Running ArielBattery 2.1 successful on:
- Himalaya (WM6.1)
- Tytn (WM6.0)
Great!
- small footprint in memory and cpu usage!!!
- no interferences and no problems
Some remarks:
1) Ariel should not listed by task managers
(was already solved in 2.1)
2) Coming into trouble with a PocketPC is caused by three things:
2a) running out of energy
2b) running out of memory
2c) exceeding WM limits
For 2a: Ariel is the perfect tool for Power Monitoring!
For 2b: In Ariel displaying overall memory usage is already included.
But it would be helpfull to differentiate between free memory usage for data and for programms.
For 2c: accordings to my experience the limit of 32 processes is causing most of the strange effects, when WM starts killing of "unused" processes for itself to keep clear of the limit.
So displaying also the numbers of currently running processes when showing the memory usage would be helpfull.
But most important: keep it small!
and have happy holidays with Your family!

Hi, did you think about my siggestion?
"The suggestion is, an option in the setup, to change the background according to the percentage. From 100% to 40% green, from 40% to 10% yellow, and bellow that, red. It would give the app a better look and funcionallity and i think in my ignorance that is easy to do."

Well, after I thought of it one once again, it might be a very nice idea :)
Do you suggest to change the color inside the small battery image or the general fill color of the icon ?

Thanks sunny127,
Your app, Ariel BM 09, worked great on my mogul! I like the feature to change the colors to match my theme...
Maybe next release have an option to place the battery in the center or next to the right of Start...
Keep up the great work!!

i was thinking inside the small battery. instead of only one background option in the setup menu, it would have three options for the background, and anyone could configure to depending on their taste.
Full Part 100% - 40% Color (user choice) ex: green
Full Part 40%- 10% Color (user choice) ex: yellow
Full Part 10% - 0% color (user choice) ex: red
give me your thoughts about it.

Very good application, thank you.
One thing isn't working on my HTC Touch HD (german), though: I can't edit the "Estimated battery lifetime" value (always jumps back to 350 right away) and the estimated runtime always shows "0".

Seriously this is a great app. I have it running along with wisbar, after changing the colors, it goes perfectly with my theme. Just wondering though is there anyway I can allow the start menu to run instead of the stats screen? With larger fingers on a smaller phone and program icons running in your taskbar it makes it a bit hard to get to the start menu.
Thank you again for all your hard work.

The voltage usually remains constant, and drops drastically moments before the battery is drained.

Hm.. Is there any way to completely remove the system battery icon and replace it with this (I mean, no overlaying tricks)? You know, it's quite frustrating to have half of a clock not visible while running some kind of programme because of overlaying battery icon and it'd be wonderful to make this app move the same way as the original icon does - for example disappear while having another app turned on.

That's right. Just copy the file like you said.
Thanks Sunny. God bless you. Take care of the cute baby.
For the benefits of some others. this is how I did it.
1) Copy the .exe file into any folder (card is also ok). 2) Just click the file, and.. WALLLLLA... . 3) Adjust to you own liking via Settings.
To auto start on soft reset.. I used Total commander. Select the file - Create Shortcut - point it to \windows\start Up.
The beauty of this is - the batt icon stays on - on any application opened. The ori windows icon disappears on other apps except home (for M2D)

To remove the orig battery icon is not simple. Every device and ROM has it's own trick to do so. However, you can just set the windows settings to display the clock always, which is good, cause it's usefull to see the clock on the top taskbar at all times.
This option can be changed in windows mobile clock options.

I guess you didn't understand me. I HAVE this option on and that's the actual problem. Normally, I have Your battery positioned over the original battery icon. However, when one runs any application, this icon disappears and is replaced with mentioned above clock - but Your battery is still on its place what causes me to see only half of a clock (eg. 16:[your_battery_icon_here]). Therefore, I have to turn the on-the-bar clock off, because I can't see what time is it anyway.

I know this is a bit off topic...
But I think it would be cool if it was possible to replace the start button with the connection bars- like in this montage below.
http://home.arcor.de/filme-palast/connection.png
This would save icon space when many programs and connections are opened.
If anyone has an idea how to do this, or if it would be possible to intergrate the position of the connection bars in Ariel Battery Monitor (despite the name), I would be more than thankful...

My problem just went away one day.. i changed nothing..
I would like to request a feature.. there seems to be 12 points
100, 90, 80, 70, 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10, 5 and 0
could we get individual "full part" color options for them? this will allow us to progressively go from green@ 100 to yellow maybe @ 50 and red @ 0.
let me know what you think..

It seems that devices with non regular resolutions begin to merge, like the HTC HD and others. In future versions I will try to start supporting non regular resolutions.

Hi!
The screen which appears when clicking the battery icon has lots of free space which could be filled with alot of useful every-day information.
What I would especially like to see is an uptime counter (time since last reboot (i.e. time since Arielbattery was started)) in days:hours:minutes:seconds format and other statistical information like that, if possible.
Thanks!

"Automatically" move? where? left or right?
I've been using this for quite a while now (love it). I don't see it moving but it stays where I put it (i.e. on top of the default battery icon). and it stays there even after I soft reset (even several times).

Hello Sunny127,
First of all, thank you for creating this fantastic program. I've been using it for some time now.
I recently brought the SE Experia and noticed the percentage doesn't read by single percent as it did on the HTC Kaiser & Diamond. The reading goes down 10% in one go like 100% 90% 80%. Is there any fix for this?
Thanks

It's not the Ariel Battery icon that moves, but the landscape behind it. Try to make all other icons to be stationary and to be always visible. If they won't move, Ariel battery will look ok.

The software is nice and simple! Thx, using it now. But I do have a question:
Estimated battery lifetime <- where should I look for this? You know right now it says by default and a bit inacurate - shows 82% while system indicator shows more (from the other side it uses 10 blocks for this, not the plain numbers).
It does not show remaining time - any fix?
What would be settings for default accumulator coming with diamond and for 3000MAh accumulator (want to buy one)

Glad you like my idea. :) I would suggest just getting the system time when arielbattery starts up. Store this in RAM somewhere and write a function to compare the actual system time to the stored value. Update display every 500ms or so. Should be precise enough. :-)

Just found the API call to find out the time since system boot ( Called GetTickCount ).
The funny thing is that it fails if the mobile device wasn't restarted for 49.7 days. I guess Microsoft never imagined their operating sytems will run that long :) LOL . I reboot mine automatically every night.

Yea... The 4 blocks are not enough. I wonder if they do it on purpose to make people talk more on their phones, or surf the net more.
I'm sure people talk less when they see the battery drop percent by percent ...

I think we can definitely rule out any problems with the 49.7-days-limit. ;-) I doubt Windows Mobile would run this long even when the PPC is left completely untouched for the whole time. :D

Dear all,
I love the ArielBattery but on my new HTC Touch 3g (Jade 100) the battery icon and percentage would not change (i mean it does not reduce even with prolong usage) and not even the built-in battery indicator would change. It would only show the change if I do a soft reset. If I do not run the ArielBattery after a soft-reset but use the internal "System Info" battery indicator then it would show the correct battery percentage.
Any ideas on what could be happening? For your information, I even did a Hard Reset but the same problem still persists. Thanks.

No once the ArielBattery is running all built-in battery indicator would also stop working. So far without the ArielBattery working the built-in battery indicator is working correctly. FYI, I do not have any other battery meter program installed. I did a hard-reset just to make sure that non of the third party programs do conflict with the OS.

Hi!
I love this battery monitor; it's just what I've been looking for! My iPAQ 910 has such little screen real-estate that I don't want to give up a whole today line just for a battery percentage feature the way the other utilities that show percentage do it! Plus, with this one, I can see the percentage in any program I'm running! Really cool!
I really like the percentage feature. I had a suggestion for those of us that are having a harder time every year with reading small text. Maybe the monitor could have an option to display percentage in a larger font. For me, I'd be willing to give up the battery icon. (Also, to keep the total size more consistent with just larger text, when it gets to full, it could just say '100' or maybe 'MAX' instead of '100%', so it stays 3 characters.)
Thanks in any case!

Since most of Ariel Battery users ain't getting any younger, this is a very good idea. I guess I could remove the percentage sign, and put the number in the battery drawing, wich will be twice as big. Will try to include it in the nearest version. This feature has been asked for several times here. Guess it's time to add it.

Ariel Battery is based on an open source project called kbattery1.0.3 which can be downloaded here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/kbattery/
All you should do is find the DC of the taskbar, and create a window as it's child. Then, it will be redrawn every time the relevant part in the taskbar is.
So, where is Ariel Battery source code? ;)

anyway, sometimes it "disapears" without any reason. Im using Eten DX900.

Maybe you click "Close all programs" in some task manager or something, and later on notice that Ariel battery is has disappeared? :)

This is the first time someone comes up with this kind of issue.
1) Try changing the 'Fill' mode in ariel battery settings to 'WM5' or 'Custom'
2) Try moving the Ariel Battery icon to a different position
3) Try using older versions and see if the issue persists.
4) Check if Ariel Battery is residing in task manger as a thread after it gets closed.
5) Go over your installed apps, and search for a program that might interfere with the upper Taskbar.

Hi,
Can I request for a feature to select for Ariel Battery to be shown only on Today ?
This is because i'm having trouble aligning the Ariel Battery, If i put it in the middle, say between the clock and signal icon, then when the clock stuck 10.00 am/pm, it will overlap each other. Unless I put it to the right most, but that would cover the X button, but if it's only on today, then no harm done.
Great apps. I'm a big fan.

If you need a Today screen battery meter, try BatteryStatus program.
Anyhow, why not put Ariel Battery left most, to cover the Start button icon?
The main disadvantage of Today screen monitors is that they are not visible during s phone call or when some other program is opened, while taskbar programs are visible almost at all times.

2. The text under the battery is cut off about 10% for some reason.
Is there a way to change either the text size OR the vertical position of the indicator?

Hello-
I really like this app! Thank you for making it. I was wondering what the "background" color does. No matter what color I put there I don't notice any change. It seems to take whatever the default start bar color is for the background. I was on a dark blue skin and just changed to green, but the square area for this app is still dark blue. And I also have the problem limestone just mentioned - if I enter my PIN & SIM code too quickly after a reboot, this app takes the bright green WM6.1 for the background even if I have a blue skin. So I'm not sure if the "background" color isn't working. I'm running v2.1 so I have the latest version installed. Thanks for checking into this. :)

I have an important request. This is a really great little application. I am using a Samsung Saga, and as many owners of newer Samsung devices have found, they use a different means for reporting battery life which renders ALL 3rd party tools (including yours) inaccurate.
I have found what I believe is the registry value their built in tools reports, but lack the programming skill to write an app that read it. Would it be possible to easily modify your app to read from the following key based on some option setting?
HKLM\System\State\Hardware\MITs\BatteryPercentage.
If this were do-able you would make A LOT of Samsung device owners happy!!!
Thanks!!

It's not too difficult to alter Ariel Battery to read the battery percentage from the registry, but I find it hard to belive that the value found in the registry will be more accurate than the API functionused to read battery power.

This was already answered (because I had the same issue & didn't know how to change it). When you go into setup, the line under "Estimated battery lifetime" says "Fill" - choose the 'Custom' radio button. That will allow the 'Background' color to be applied. :)

The value exposed by the API is literally incorrect. Not sure why, but Samsung did something to end run around the normal Windows method. There are a couple different forums that touch on this subject (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=49435) but the bottom line is any battery meter app is way off from what Samsung's built in today app or power control panel page indicate.

According to what I’ve read in the forums, the battery value exposed to the WM API is always 10% more than the actual battery.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if this difference is consistent, I guess one could live with that problem.

Ariel battery is pretty much a hack to the operating system, alowing to draw where can't be drawn.
Sometimes, there is a delay in background color detection mechanism.
I couldn't find a resolution for this one yet.
If it bothers you, just set a user defined background color in Ariel Battery's settings.

I can tell you from experience that that isn't the case. it is not simply 10% off. I am at 86% according to the reading in HKLM\system\State\hardware\MITs\BatteryPercentage, but any third party battery app I am using (including Ariel) still reports 100%.

This is Ariel Battery Monitor v2.1 2009 Official site
http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/605/arielbatterymonitor1.jpg

-Ariel taskbar battery charge monitor/indicator/gauge/meter replaces the "Start" button Icon at the taskbar with battery info icon.
It is a freeware and will remain so.

Just delete the old ArielBatteryX.exe if present and copy the new one.
Main features:
-Makes good use of the unused space of the "Start" button icon.
-Battery power is always visible, because it is on the taskbar.
-Very low CPU consumption (Only about 0.001% !!! Much less than any other battery monitoring program !!!)
-Tiny memory usage, Much smaller than kBattery, pBar, magicbutton, batmon or xbutton.
-Just put it on StartUp folder or link to it, and it will do the job!
-WM2003, WM2005 (WM5) , WM6 .
-Full control of all displayed colors.
-The gauge can be moved to replace any icon on the taskbar
-Landscape mode is supported
-VGA screens are supported ( Drag the "pick color" window by it's title to see it all )
-HTC Diamond supported
-HTC Touch HD supported ( Some small graphic representation issues of free space in memory cards , that will be fixed). Please tell me if you have any problems.
-Compatible with QuickMenu ( Just go to QuickMenu options and check "Replace system's start-menu" checkbox ).
http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/9923/dmndlinewy9.jpg
What's new in version 2.1 :
-Ariel Battery Icon can now be alligned to both right and left, to support people who frequently change from portrait mode to landscape, and chose to put the icon on top of some other icon, and not the start icon.
-Performance improvement
What's new in version 2.0 :
-WM6 gradient color compatibility
-Full control of all displayed colors
*If you can, please comment if you like the proggie ;-) Thanks

I am using HTC TD (Old version). In the home screen there used to be battery meter next to volume meter. However, for past a few days the battery meter has been replaced by time. When I touch the time then a pop up appears showing the battery level. I want to get my battery meter back to the same place. Even when I put the cell to charge the battery meter does not appear.
http://www.tracyandmatt.co.uk/blogs/media/blogs/tracyandmatts_blog/home.jpg
In this image as you can see the charging meter (Batter meter) is there, however the meter has been replaced by the time. Even I have disabled to display the clock to show on the title bar in all programs does not bring back the battery meter. Please help me on this. If it is something to do with settings, please advise. I would not prefer to install any software (like additional clock software etc.) however if there is a patch for the same please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

Nice dedication to your cute little guy :)

For the past year, I have been using the discontinued app, "batt2.4." Works really nicely.
I was thinking to also download your app. Any conflicts with batti 2.4 or would it have to replace batti?
Any advantages of one over the other?

Hi,

I'm also testing "iss Battery Monitor" (http://www.implicitsoftware.com/mobile_battery.html), very interesting.

Greetings,
Thanks for your reply.
Much appreciated.
I notice Ariel would give me a digital readout of the battery power management while batti gives me a linear readout.
S2U2 also gives me a digital readout when my device is locked.
I also downloaded the 1% battery power increment cab by nuerom a few months ago.
Batti 2.4 looks nice though along the top :)
Btw, there is a charge of $5.95 for the application (iss battery manager) that you posted in your link.
Ariel is freeware, and seems to offer at least as many options as the payware.
batti 2.4 is also freeware.
I figured I would point that out, as that may be a consideration for some :)

I won't admit that Ariel Battery is not a nice app, but I think that credits are not going where they are due.
1 - Ariel Battery is very heavily based on KBattery. The vast majority of the code was written by Kuchin, and if he got the credits he deserves, the original project might still be alive.
2 - As pointed by Allelimo in post 317 (conveniently ignored), since this is based on an open source project, the source code should be made available as per the licence.
3 - I cannot see how Ariel Battery is lighter on resources than KBattery, or is it simply because some of the options of KBattery are gone? For instance, KBattery can display both time and battery, thus overlay time+battery on the standard time, and retain more screen estate (which is why I keep on using KBattery myself).
To conclude, some good work from sunny127, but let us remind that the bulk of the work (and thus credits) should go to Kuchin for making KBattery available as open source in the first place, and that as a result the source code for Ariel Battery should be made available (not that I want the source code myself, but because that's what drives the philosophy behind open source, and why Kuchin was kind enough to publish is project on SourceForge in the first place).
I'm sure that my post is going to be largely ignored, censored or even deleted, but deontologically, I had to point this out.

I was really curious about the resources claims, so tried KBattery v1.0.3 and Ariel Battery v2.1 in turn, both running from my memory card, with nothing else running except for FdcSoft Task Manager v3.1 to check resources consumption:
Ariel Battery v2.1, all default options:
CPU used=0.3% to 1.3%, memory used=11KB
KBattery v1.0.3, default options, except displaying both battery AND time instead of just battery:
CPU used=0.1% to 0.3%, memory used=1KB
These results don't concur with sunny127 claims. These results are on a Toshiba e800 running WM2003SE, so your experience may vary. Another reason for me to stick to the original KBattery, albeit that's only me and everyone is free to use whatever they see fit.

KBattery is using less CPU and less memory, even though it is displaying battery AND time, compared to Ariel. Impressive.

I tried them both. Ended up sticking with kbattery. I used its setup screen to size the icon to fit perfectly over the time display on my Tilt 2 w/WM 6.5. kbattery is an excellent companion to the 1%-increment battery display modification at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=527006.

My testing showed somewhat different results for kbattery 1.1.9.13. I used the CPU Usage function of SKTools 4.4.7.12. It shows kbattery 1.1.9.13 consistently at 0.4, jumping to 1.1 regularly. Ariel Battery Monitor, OTOH, bounces between 0.1 and 0.0, very occasionally jumping to 1.7 for just one refresh cycle. It jumps at a time when other processes are also jumping. In kbattery 1.1.9.13, there's no way to turn off the clock to see if that makes a difference. So I tried kbattery 1.03. It sits at 1.7% CPU for a long time, then jumps to 2.3% and stays there for a while, then down to 1.7 for a while, etc. Ouch.
Overall, Ariel Battery Monitor takes a bit more memory, but far less CPU time on the average than either kbattery 1.03 or 1.1.9.13. I'm sticking with Ariel for now.
For an additional reference, VistaHide Battery Gauge sits at 0.
Late update: I've settled on Batti 2.4. It works fine, has the nice bar like VistaHide, but also has info screens available on tapping it. That's what I was seeking for my Tilt 2. CPU usage sits a 0, and the RAM footprint is small.

As I said, my results were for my Toshiba e800 which runs WM2003SE. Since Ariel Battery is advertised as being WM5/6 compatible, maybe later machines are better off with Ariel Battery (I cannot test this hypothesis).
It is also possible to switch to a battery icon only in the settings, but since I overlay KBattery on the original time, I prefer to stick to battery+time myself, which is another reason for me to use KBattery instead of Ariel Battery which surprisingly has this option removed.
I don't have SKTools (it's not freeware IIRC), but checking again in TaskMgr, and to be more precise, KBattery uses 0.09% most of the time, with peaks at 0.18 % 0.27% on my machine. Surprisingly, now KBattery seems to be using 9KB, even after a soft reset. I tried displaying battery only, and this has no effect on memory and CPU usage.
My only gripe is that I try to overlay perfectly the icon over the time, but depending on the current time, KBattery's icon seem to move slightly, meaning that alignment is not consistently covering the original time. I'm going to try the battery only icon, and see if alignment changes with that.
*EDIT* BTW, I'm using the latest official release v1.0.3, I might try v1.1.9.13.
*EDIT2* No wonder, v1.1.9.13 is bloated with a contextual menu making the executable twice as large, and the date in the contextual menu is russian anyway. Back to good old v1.0.3 for me, I'll stick with the original!

I've modified KBattery 1.0.3 a bit to work better with 6.5.1. In addition to the cutoff text issue that people have described, I noticed that the about and setup dialogs wouldn't close unless you used the hardware back button. This could be an issue specific to me, but I added buttons in the dialogs to close them just in case it happened to other people. This should hold us over until a new version of Ariel Battery is available.
This was tested using Windows Mobile build 28014 and things seem to be working fine.

Thanks so much for this v2.1 of Ariel Battery. I have always wanted a simple way of keeping wm6's native clock in the title bar of wm6, but Microsoft was idiotically making me substitute the clock for the battery icon. You application allows me to have both. I had seen the previous versions, but they did not have the capability of being placed anywhere I chose on the title bar, and I did not want to place it on the MS menu icon on the left side. In the new version, I just used settings to move it over to the right a little where the useless names of programs are written in the title bar. Thank you.

I have been using this wonderful app on my Omnia and WM6.1 without any problems for the past years!
Recently after installing it on my Omnia II running on WM6.5, the app has crashed numerous times. Not sure if there is a conflict with the new phone or the new OS.
Have anyone experience the same?

Would you mind creating a new version of this program that you could also adjust the height (as in up and down). Since the start menu is larger in windows 6.5.5 at the bottom and smaller at the top. Your program does not line up correct with the new version of windows. I have been using your program since forever and would love to continue to use it. even though it does not line up correctly.. I still use it ;-)

This app is so amazing that I am using it until now, having changed 2-3 WM devices. I am still using it in an HTC Touch HD (WM 6.5, HTC Sense 2.5). I never liked the original windows battery-bar and I have never found a better alternative to Ariel Battery.
I was wondering about the calibration of the battery meter. It initially says 350, so I suppose it uses the windows battery gauge and transform it to a corresponding percentage. Is there a way to calibrate the meter by changing the value 350?
Thank you again for this wonderful app!

Thanks a lot for the nice post :) So many people downloaded Ariel battery from this site and many other sites over the years. Now I have a baby girl as well, maybe I'll write an app at her name for Android or something :)
As to your question, the 350 number is only for calculating the remaining time in minutes until the battery is drained. It is really not accurate, cause in some modes the phone spends a lot of battery juce , more than in other modes. It was something experimental. Don't recommend it.

Just wanted to say that I like your little battery app. I was wondering if you could make a change (add a registry entry) to disable the click event on the icon? Hi all.
I've now added the source code of Ariel battery 2.1 in the downloads section.
Many things have changed since I wrote this app back in 2008.
I now have a new baby girl. Maybe she will want one day an app of her own, but looks I'll be writing it on Android :)
BTW , I have an android phone and hate it, cause I just can't sync my outlook with the Android Callendar, contacts and tasks. So now I carry arround two huge phones ... My XDA II and Samsung Galaxy S I9000, using the old XDA II for callendar and contacts, and samsung for Angry birds.
Another thing that has changed is that I am going thrue a divorce, and live seperated from my wife for a year now :(
At least I get to see the kids twice a week for a couple of hours each time.
Hope everything will be good one day.
Enjoy the source code guys.

Sad to read of your divorce, glad you can still see kids, and very happy Ariel Battery is in a new (to me) version that works with Wm6.5! Went through a divorce myself, had to watch son grow from a distance, but 2nd marriage still going strong more than 30 years. Great pic of Ariel himself, all big eyed and smiling. But when I scrolled down and saw he was holding a PDA, that's when I got all big eyed, smiling, and burst out laughing.
Used ABv2 for awhile back about 3 years ago, when playing with custom 6.1 ROMs that had issues with time versus battery at top right, together with phone popping up unexpectedly. When official 6.1 became available, issue was solved well enough that I took AB out. But now I'm attempting an upgrade to 6.5 and running into that old issue. So it is really nice that ABv2.1 is still here to help me out. Many thanks, muchly appreciated.
