Dude, I know you're new here, but seriously. Search much?
Yes. You can. Search this bulletin board. Find out what version your hardware is, and you will learn how to upgrade it. Learn what you can.
Just an editorial comment: I have found that many users are dissatisfied with WM6 on their Wizard. Fact of the matter is, the hardware is dated, and doesn't like the processor-hogging action of WM6 without serious hacks and overclocking the processor.

Hey Myrddin, so you wouldn't recommend such upgrade? I've seen all sorts of opinions on this one but still haven't made my mind. WM5 looks awfully dated, it's the same OS I used to play with 5 yrs ago on old iPaqs...could WM6 be any worse?

I've been running NBD 9.2 w/touchflo for some time and its the best one I have used. I have tried a couple others that were not very impressive to me. If you upgrade run battery status and OC your cpu a little bit. In all reality, the biggest difference of the MDa vs Wing is WM5 vs WM6 and color.
So I say read about it, try it and if you dont like it.. switch to something else.

If you can do this with WM5, I ask, what's the point of upgrading? (...and I spent a long, hard, $10 on Wisbar Advance (http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/products.php?prod=WisBar+Advance+3), the rest was done using freeware, and only cost me some time to modify to my liking).
I would never presume to tell anyone that this is better than that. What's best for you is what you LIKE most. Bugs and whatnot may not bother you as much as not having the latest edition. For me, consistent appearance is key to my happiness, and having the latest-version is less important than having stability in behavior, so when I find something that works well, I tend not to update it, short of "security" updates.
