phone contacts disapeared

My phone contacts (not sim) dissapeared somehow.
I installed the HTC home update and after a soft restart , they were gone.
Can i still retrieve them? anyone know what happened?

Have you tried resetting again? Sometyimes the PIM volume can't be read. Otherwise yuo need to re-sync if you have them on your PC or restore from a backup.

restarting didnt work, but..re sync-ing did.
Unfortutantly i had pushed all my previous old contacts from sim to phone before i resynced and now i have them double :)
have to go one by one and delete the extra ones...

no you don't. Clear SIM with SIM EDITOR

what do u mean? hide Sim contacts?
