Hi,

I am a recent owner of a Touch Cruise, to replace my too big Athena.
On my X7500 I was using TomTom navigator 6 brought by HTC with a one-town demo map, that's why I bought France map on TomTom site.

So, yesterday I bought my Cruise in one of my phone operator's store, which is SFR in France. And my **#!@* operator removed tomtom software because it has its own gps software (monthly costing about 15$).

I would like to find / download / buy only TomTom software, because I already have the map for it, but I don't find anyway o get it !

Even the TomTom software setup cab of my Athena's programs disc does not want to be installed on my Polaris...

May someone tell me how I could get a copy of TomTom executable only ?? (if possible in french)

I´m sorry, but you can´t buy the TomTom Navigator stand alone version. TomTom only sells it with a map package.

But you can install your for your old PDA activated TomTom version on your new Polaris, if half a year has gone after the activation on your old PDA.

Thanks for your response, but as I said my Athena's version of TomTom does not want to be installed on the Polaris, saying that my ROM is in a wrong version : I suppose that the HTC TomTom exe installer is restricted to Athena ROMs

Well, yes and no.
If the operator removed the the software from the TC, the answer is no.
If the operator removed the CD as well, he removed some dedicated HTC software like backup and GRPS monitor which is on the Tomtom CD, the answer is yes:)

The good answer is Yes : the operator removed the CD containing TomTom software and Spb software... I only have the ActiveSync CD
