Slow PIE Scrolling? Similar to Dual?

Hey guys. Does the TC suffer from the same slow scrolling in PIE as does the Dual?

If so, there are a couple of reg hacks to improve scrolling....do they help?

I also saw this thread, which basically improves the PIE engine for smoother scrolling. Has anybody applied it to their TC?

Why waste your time on PIE if it already comes with Opera pre-installed :confused:

Let me make this clear about all the "problems"you read about the TC. It is not worse than any other WM device in actual use :cool: We were expecting a super device from it that is why there are so many complaints here :eek:

We will have to wait until we can start cooking to see ROMs with this fix applied, in the meantime I attach a cab from the Kaiser threads which I have installed and works perfectly. ;)

Hey christonge. Great job. Thank you very much. This cab makes my Polaris (German Orbit2) now perfect. What a shame to HTC for this bug.

does it work with Opera too? or its only a IE fix?

it would be appreciated if a .cab can resolve this scroll issue... please find a .cab with the driver into please :D:D eheh

This problem affects more than just a few phones.

It's a problem with the Qualcomm MSM7200 and MSM7500 chipsets, HTC never wrote a proper driver for video draw, we actually have the power to do much more with our phones. (I have a Titan)

Check out the video and sign the petition, HTC has been dancing around this problem for too long.
