Color Restriction Of WM6

Is there any way to make WM6 support more than 65K Colors?
Pictures and videos look much better on nokia's which supports about 262K colors. :(

Well it's a hardware restriction, because WinMo doesn't support more, so the manufacturers don't build devices with better displays (cheaper)!

The hardware does support 264k colors BUT the o.s cant.

there was a petition recently against HTC about hardware acceleration in devices using the msm7200 processors.
HTC had to reply to the petition eventually.
Can we have a petition against MS for this issue, because almost all LCD's now support 262K colors and its just the OS that's limiting this.

hardware specs say its a hardware restriction thouhg? where do you guys see that it supports 262k?
