Cannot copy files or attach files to e-mail

Hi all,

Yet another problem with my luckless XDA Orbit (WM6). When I try to attach a file to an e-mail, I can select the file from the list, but then the selected file does not appear in the e-mail.

Also, I cannot copy the file (a Word document) from the storage card to main memory - the error message is: "Access is denied. Be certain that the file is not write-protected and is not currently in use" (it isn't). Yet I can save it to main memory using Word.

Any ideas?

Whose ROM are you using? Is there enough memory left on your Main Memory part?

I am using the ROM supplied with the phone (it came with WM6 from O2 UK). There seems to be 15MB of main memory free at least.
