also choose to hide sim contacts.
When I reset, I still am on english layer and my sim contacts are still showing.

I've been using the meschle ROM for a while which comes with a lot of programs (total commander, pocketcm, live search, today agenda etc) all of which I find really useful.

I always had Tom's ROMs before and am wanting to give it a try but is it me, or will I use up all my spare storage space & program space by installing these other useful apps.

Sorry to ask such a newbie question, but can someone really simply explain the difference between program & storage.

Last question, does anyone have more screenshots (programs, keyboard etc)

Ha ! Sorted the weather problems at last - thanks to N2A and his auto-patcher @ http://weather.not2advanced.com/files/ I've successfully patched the HTCHome.dll file to accept any weather location.

The patched file has been uploaded here for anyone else ... just copy to your device and run it (using the built in file explorer on the PDA). Oh - and you might want to temporarily 'disable' the HTC plugin via the settings/today tab whilct you do this ... just to be on the safe side.

It look Faster than 6.0.. The advenced Custum is a great tool !!! we can specify where we want to sotre Swap File/element of "my Document"/ and lots of other things...

Some change in Pocket IE, but i prefer Opera 6.65 or NetFront 3.3..

i'm sad that the user interface is not like the smartphone sample... (transparent).

I found the SDHC card Access is faster... perhaps juste a fell...

Just copy the file *.cab to your device, storage card, and install it, just go to file and put your stilet over it. Thats it!

Great rom Tom, i have noticed when i turned the big menu on, i got a crash and the artemis doesn't react any more and soft reset doesn't help, always when i open the start menu it crashes again, i have to hard reset.
Is there a chance to integrate the MMS from the last rom ?

I got the mistake: It appears when i activate menu animation :(

for this very nice ROM. iGO8 now Works with buildings 3D. I think the cause is the Programmemory after softreset from 26MB. :) The speed of this ROM is fantastic. I hope it comes in German language.
Can you make the Programmemory is over 30MB? Then i must not buy a Orbit2. :D

Ok iceman,
when you unzip the downloaded file, you have another file (the one that contains the xml and other...) do not unzip this one, it is the .cab file needed.
Just copy this .cad file to the phone, click once with the stylet ans it will start installing. Do the installation on the main memory and everything will work out.

mayB it's been a while this way,.. but if i install something,..nd it replaces something in regsettings,.. i found out if I use the softreset button.. it uses my 2nd last boot(reg)settings...(so by softreset,.. it reverses my regsettings.. or something like that).

Have this connection problem too - for some reason only with tom_codon roms(everything is OK in official roms). Only way I've found to fix it -> go to Settings -> USB to PC and turn off "Enable advanced network functionality". Make sure you also have activeSTINK version 4.5, not 4.2 (in case you've upgraded from wm5).

Hi guys and a big thanks to Tom for his great job, it's like a second christmas day, i was very exciting to try this new release.
I use an Edge connection to receive my Email but no way for me to stop the connection after downloading. No option to disconnect it as it was possible in the last version (4.3), why???, do you think I missed something ??? :confused:

I have had the same problem as well. This started when I installed B&B 4.3 (and also touch 3.01) But basically it will active synce successfully after a reboot but subsequent times if you unplug and replug the device back into the computer again it will fail to sync.

Anyone help?

I had to put my phone into bootloader manually before running uspl_start.exe.

I tried the one with Cube and:

1. The screen refresh (such as when scrolling programs list) is very slow
2. At times there is problem with Task Manager Quick Menu not working
3. Same can be said about the BIG Start Menu
4. EDGE - Disconnect and Timer = Off, even when enabled via Advanced Config or SKTools
5. Memory LEAK still a major problem

Gonna try the one without Cube and compare.

First of all, well done with this addition!

I am not sure if it is related to this ROM, but since the installation I am experiencing (sometimes) a black screen with only the "task bar" on top. I can click the battery meter icon, but nothing else is responding. When tapping the screen I get an error sound.

Any chance this might be a bug of some sort?

Also you can go into a contact and there is a send mms message option there but when you select it it just lets you send a standard text.

Make sure you soft-reset your PDA, then click on text messaging, create new ... you will be given a choice of SMS or MMS. Works for me ok ...

One thing - I notice now that I have only the 3 Windows ringtones from the ROM to choose from. I added my favourite MP3 into the Windows directory, but it doesn't see it in the Notifications tab. Converted it to WMA (in case WM6.1 only supports them), but I still can select it.

Both files (MP3 and WMA) play no problem with WMP and Core player, so I am not sure what's going on.:confused:

This only happens for ringtones (Incoming Call) - I selected alternate files for New SMS and New Email without any problem at all.

Any suggestions here would be gratefully received.
