On my HTC Blue Angel, I keep getting "warning memory is critically low" :(. I have loaded a bunch of different ROM's (Helmi WM 6.0, WM 2003, and several others from this group). Now I have a huge "mxip_notify" file at 17.6 M and a huge "pim" file at 3.49 M. Also on the program menu, there are 4 calendar icons, 3 contact icons, and 2 media player icons.

I tried to follow the "Notification Queue, fixing & cleaning HOWTO" thread dated Sep 2005. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=333521&highlight=notify)

I loaded a trial version of MemMaid 2.1, but when I go to the 2nd tab - Notification Queue, I don't see all of the files that are discussed in the thread. I don't know how to get the above files down to their nomal size.

Please advise.:o

Thanks

Mark

Hi,

two suggestions:

1.) Try sktools - their house-cleaning capabilities are great. The only caveat: Don't try to delete double appointments or contacts if you are replicating via directpush. It would work, but cleaning these with SK-Tools would not delete the second instance in your exchange mailbox.

2.) Don't use Sprite Backup for a Rom-migration. I had a lot of trouble with this, regardless of the version. Since Sprite can't be that bad, I guess there is an issue with cooked roms and Sprite.

Have fun!
