What do you mean dead? What have you done with it?

Format miniSD into FAT32, put ROM image on it (card method for update, described maaaany times here) and reset holding PTT/Media (side, under volume rocker) button.

After getting your Treo back to life, write what have you done to it to kill it - it could be useful in future.

Step 3. Enter the bootloader. To do so, press the Push-to-talk / Media button on the left side of the device, then push the reset pin with your stylus.

The small hole signed "RESET" uder the miniSD card slot.

7. Holding PPT/Media button (one under volume keys) push reset (under card slot) with stylus. - this is going into bootloader.

Still you haven't told us what do you mean saying "dead" and what was the reason of this sudden death. Flashing is a good way to put it on two legs (if it is dead, probably the rom image is broken somehow, so reflashing will fix it).

And make sure your battery is fully charged. Btw, does it charge when you plug in to charger?
