Hi. I'm a newbie, and probably should have known better.
I tried upgrading my sprint 6800 to the new rom, following this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=362563
The "Update your Hard-SPL to 2.40-olipro" step went fine, although I had to restart it after it was completed (later on, I saw something that said I should have used TTY at that point to set some variable after the install - whoops).
I installed the new ROM from the next step of that thread, and it did its thing without problems.
However, the phone will no longer boot! It freezes (or crashes?) on the Sprint welcome screen.
I tried doing the "hold soft-left, soft-right, and reset" thing, whatever that's called, and it appeared to go through its process of reseting something but it didn't make any difference.
I also tried formatting the SD card to fat32, and copying the embedded ROM file to "TITAIMG.nbh" on it as described by ImCoKeMaN in the thread posted above. I rebooted with the sd card in the phone, and tried doing that loading screen. Again, that didn't make any difference and it still freezes at the Sprint welcome screen.
Sorry for my lack of correct terminology - I'm still learning all this! If it helps, this is what shows on the Sprint welcome screen:
m 09
b 03
p ACAAAM-4070
r 1.32.00
d 3.16
