Hi frens, today when I pass by project.ppc-theme.com

I found out a new cool theme =D so I wanna share with my frens, here is the screenshot of final fantasy theme

http://project.ppc-theme.com/final_fantasy_7/final%20fantasy%207%20by%20ppc-theme.com.jpg (http://project.ppc-theme.com)

http://project.ppc-theme.com/final_fantasy_7/screenshots%20(ppc-theme.com).jpg (http://project.ppc-theme.com)

Instruction
- Download the file given.
- Extract the file which you have downloaded from project.ppc-theme.com to your PC Desktop.
- Connect your PPC with PC via ActiveSync.
- Transfer the .cab files to your PPC.
- Install it to device memory. Do it as your own risk.
- After doing the installation, soft reset your PPC for maximize use.
- Run the Wisbar Advance Desktop application, click and hold on an open area and choose theme manager (note that "Author Mode" must be active).
- Enter Desktop Theme, at the potrait tab choose "final fantasy 7 "** and at the landscape tab choose "final fantasy 7 landscape". After that click ok.
**: required full version.
- Now your today screen will look similar to the pictures above and you're done.
- Remember to make it in "full screen" mode.
- Some shortcuts that exist will most likely induce a "cannot find file" error when you click them.
This is normal, just click and hold on the icon and edit them to correct path through properties.
- This theme run fast because it doesn't need Wisbar Advance in using it.
- Most words in the theme have shortcuts when click on it.
- You can put your photos at all the boxes on dirge of cerberus, advance children and crisis core sections, with the size of 150x100. Now, we have made It is easy to set your own pics. After creating 4 pictures with 150x100 size, name them with "my photo 1.jpg","my photo 2.jpg",
"my photo 3.jpg", and "my photo 4.jpg". Put them all in the following directory
Main memory: \Program Files\Lakeridge\Wisbar Advance Desktop\themes\
final fantasy 7 by ppc-theme.com\photos\
Just overwrite them all and you are done, for instance look at the screenshots above.
- Enjoy using the Final Fantasy VII Theme.

LOL, Pain in the @$$ means just that. Its a saying that imples that something is a bit of a hassle to go through.
.
Example - Signing up to a forums you have no interest in joing, just to download a file, is a total Pain in the A$$.

Hope that helps, nice work.

Hmm. I can only get the program running, then add the background. That's about it. Anyone got it running correctly?

I can run it perfectly by just installing the full version .cab to my device not storage card :)

Well, i guess then it's me, because it's still not working...

Let's review here:
wisbar advanced 3.0 installed on device
wisbar advanced desktop 1.3 installed on device
ff7 theme installed on device

No icons are added in the all program menu, just to settings menu called Theme manager.
When i start that i can select the ff7 theme Landscape, and it opens a blue screen with (i think) placeholders for icons.

What am i doing wrong?

Well, i downloaded it from ppc. So i guess it's full.

When i start the application (through explorer, mind you.) i can modify all stuff but i won't see the FF7 theme at all. Only a blue screen with some placeholders.
I can however edit the placeholders position and change the background.
Another thing: I guess my Polaris is Qvga, so this wouldn't work out pretty well anyways, right?

Aha yes if your device is QVGA then it won't work anymore because they create it for VGA user :)

Someone has converted the black and light theme into QVGA....so why not this one (or the tekken 6 one)?
I would do it myself but I have no idea what to do!!
Anyone working on converting it?

I was going to give a shot at converting this to qvga (I've done this before it's more time consuming than it is hard) but when I install the cab from the site I get the landscape part but not the portrait and there seem to be a lot of files missing. If someone can PM me a full copy of the theme I'd be glad to give it a try.
