I've 2 problems.....

1) I can't unistall my apps...
If I check my "program list" (to unistal someone of that), the list is empty!!!

2) I can't replay to an sms....
If I push "replay" the message appears, but the recipient is empty! (I have to set it manually everytime); the strange thing is that if I push "replay to all" the recipient appears in the sms....

I noticed that, after a soft reset, the list of my recent program (in the start menu) was empty......

Today I tried this register tweak:
"HKLM\System\StorangeManager\FATFS" set the CacheSize value to 4096

and I have already had this one since days:
HKLM\SYSTEM\GDI\GLYPHCACHE "limit" to 32768

What happen???

Please help me..... :confused::confused:

Don't you just hate that crap??!!?? Sorry to hear about your issue.

I have done that sort of thing and it is really frustrating...but I guess that is the price you pay for tweaking your device :D

Have a beer, relax, hard reset, and have fun setting up again.;)

I know your pain... I had a similar issue when I first got my 6800 - couldn't remove/install apps, wouldn't active sync, etc.. I hadn't made any registry tweaks yet - was still just playing around with it installing a few basic apps... I googled all over and found quite a few people had a similar issue. The only thing that would solve it was a hard reset.

There were a few threads claiming something about some security value registry changes getting made unbeknownst to the user by the device. A few people were trying to share "original" reg settings to get things to work and avoid a HR - all to no avail...

I never did hear of a root cause... I just bit the bullet and reset.

I sure wish ActiveSync would return the B/U & restore feature... though there are some good ones out now that also save voice tags, etc..

Take kwickone's advice and good luck!

I had a few hard resets before too...

Hmm, to aleviate the pain, I always clone my phone before doing any form of tweaking.

Sometimes only a hard reset will do as the guys were telling you all along.

Well done.
