Hi,
I've been reading some forums to find out about the touch radio. xda lists the Rogers (Canada) Touch as the Elfin and has 850/1800/1900. Some other websites say 900/1800/1900.
Anyone have one and know for sure which bands it works on? I plan on using it in China (Guang Dong). China uses primarily 900 I believe, so a 850/1800/1900 phone is useless there?
Thanks

has anyone tested rogers htc touch on a gsm 900 network? i too need a gsm 900 phone and would love the rogers unlocked one.

it is actually possible. rogers touch (correct me if i am worng) is the us/canada variant of htc touch. that supports 850/1800/1900mhz.

it is quadband no matter what the box says. look at howardforums for more unofficial proof. I have a few threads there.

Made the plunge and ordered a htc touch from rogers through retention.
I'm reading your threads on howardforums and learning a lot about the device.
Knowing it has 850/900 makes me really happy!
Thanks for the info. Happy Touching :)
