Cruise problem (french rom)

Hello,

I've just buy a HTC Cruise and I see a little problem:
the camera button doesn't launch any application. When I push it, it activate the light on keys but it doesn't launch anything.
But if I launch an application that use this button (camera or media player), it works !(it takes photos and if I affect it to zoom in windows media player it works).
So I don't think that is a mechanic problem, but I want to know if it's a software bug...
If you have some information about this, please help me.

Just in case you haven't tried...

... try pressing the button all the way in. I didn't realise how far in the button goes, as it has two stages.

This button is a little bit hard for me too.
But when application is started (after a big push on the button) there is no problem. (two stages for take a photo)

I have created a quick launch camera application in my 6 sides cube, for not to press too much on...

You're right. I'haven't see that in manual but it's true: this button is hard !
