If you install this rom. With Battery status overclocked to 273Mhz And have the GPRS off or any wireless connection.

And most of the time in your pocket in standby mode. Normal Calling/text message a day.

You will last 2 days or sometimes even more....

In settings/memory I see their is not a Running Programs tab like in most Windows Mobile 6 roms (not specially itje roms) is this also the case with the touch it full 6.1 rom????

My other question is if a program happens to not respond then what! I would usually go to settings then memory and hit the Running Programs tab to fix that

1. Battery Life seems better than full
2. Lock works here- powering off will actually lock the device with the Key Lock Set to do so.
3. 1 issue found is that the Comm Manager opens on its own occasionally. I find it open behind other programs I have run even though I have shut it previously or never opened it after reset.
4. Second issue found- Acrobat Reader 2.0 crashes my unit every time it is shut down. I can launch and view PDF's fine, but closing the app causes reset.

Ok- have verified that the Comm Manager/Direct Push Issue is here also. If I disable Data Connection in the comm manager, I cannot re-enable it. This effectively wipes out direct push. If I soft reset the device, the Data Connection is not able to be enabled either.

UPDATE- in a desperate effort to avoid having to reflash I kept trying to enable Data Connection in the Comm Manager. it took 30 minutes, but was finally able to get it to enable. This seems like the Xbuttin issue already dealt with- i.e. the area on screen where the data connection on off buttons are is not responding well to stylus presses.

UPDATE2- However, even though the Data Connection shows ON, Direct Push does not work. So if you use this ROM and need Direct Push, do not disable Data Connection in Comm Manager.

when you take the stock t-mob rom...

delete the SPL.nbh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

then it will flash.

and please the stuff doesn´t "suck"!! you may not like it. that´s all.

Has anyone gotten mms t completely work? No signs of mms at all in itsblack so I installed _alex_arcsoft mms 5.0.31.7 and allthough the option to create and send an mms are there, there are no folders or inbox or account info for mms and there for mms's don't send or receive. Any solutions?

i don´t need to overwrite nothing...i install the 2 cabs (FlashVideoBundle+CorePlayer"TCMP") and copy the 3 dll files (PlugIn) in the right folder.... that´s all.

By the way, i think Duprade (but not sure) wrote somewhere that the new CorePlayer supports fully Youtube (without the need of the FlashVideoBundle) ...or something like that

The reason for no MMS is because the download path of the hex graphic on a slope of -5 were off by a percentage of 12.7891001 . Then when the reconfiguration of the compile against the grain of the radiation isotope created a backdraft of 12% of the original SMS file sending it out of the MMS file structure and the hard drives used to set up the system via bit-torent went haywire while a sexual interlude played with a data-bus of 12kiahertz of bandwidth on a atomic level.

What you mean internet ? wifi works quiet fine as i used it with a few internet applications . But if you mean using your internet from your provider I would wonder since its the same as MMS using GPRS/EDGE then maybe the 2 are correlated. But then again the MMS part of the rom is not there totally but GPRS/EDGE internet may work . Which provider you are with ?

Im with T-Mobile and it worked before on a different rom ...but i thought of doing a master reset then flash again ... Itje's Vista cubed so i have no problems just trying to see ///i may call into t-mobile pda department to see thr proxy settings and see if they are all correct..

The install a fresh version of:
Arcsoft_MMS_4281

Then use the setting from the following post:

I didn't have a chance to flash back to this rom yet . But I will tonight and tell you if it works. And I have a few other MMS solutions to try if it doesn't.

Exactly as displayed is what you want to do with the MMS .... If you cant figure it out I will make a small brief tutorial based on what the other guys wrote.

its just the first post leads me to an open touch release and the part thats relevant isnt very clear(about mms setup).as far as deleting arcsoft from the registry gos.


the second is very helpful but the fact that im uncomfortable deleting registry values that aren't specicific cancels it out.

any help and the diligent yet apprehensive reader of this great forum that gets made fun of by his wife for staring at the screen to read so much usefull info would be greatly appreciated!

I know this thread is old. I installed the touch-it black version. I like it I installed the keyboard fix. However! when I want to use media player to play songs I can't. When I'm in WMP and navigate the library to where my songs are on the storage card I get" An unexpected error occurred". Does anyboody know what would be the cause of this??

If I point to the song individually WMP will play it but only that song.

Hi, I flashed my WING 2day with this ROM (Touch-IT WM6.1 Black) but when I click on "Calendar" on the Today Screen this message pops up... "The file HTCCalendar cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file". My guess is that I syncd with the an exchange server and it required a certificate, I installed the certificate and it downloads the emails, contacts, tasks and calendar... Actually if I click on my appointments I can see the calendar but not by pressing the Calendar on the Today Screen...


Ohh BTW, when I run "TFsettings" it opens a window but it's empty... I can see the half of a check box but no text nor anything at all...
Any suggestions?

I tried this one long time ago, so don't remember exactly, but for the touchflo, I think it's a bug. It's does not have touchflo installed and not suposed to have the TFsettings. The cook did not installed it. Maybe you should try a newer rom that is supported by the cooks. ITJE is no longer with us and not supporting or fixing bugs for his roms here

This is ancient. Not to mention that itje pulled all of his ROMs towards the end of his Herald cooking carrier before he moved on to another device. I forgot why he pulled them.
