Wow -- Flashed the zcink lite version. Very nice. Speed is there. yes it is.
I appreciate it so much.
I changed out the PrimarySplash with the one I made. Hope no offense.
Immediately after Flash I get:
47.99 Storage memory 29.90 Program Memory
Then I installed my Resco Explorer 2007 to Storage Card. Did the following standard Regedits: (Posting them so others may do if they want to)
Disable Video Size Limit:

Allow Ringtones from Micro SD Card:
HKCU/Control Panel/Sound Catagories/Ring/Directory: /Windows/ => /Storage Card/

No complaints here. I am soooooooooo Glad to see HTC X-Button Gone. What a relief. Only I need PBar in Startup. No problem though, I have the .exe file so I put it in there myself. I have a newer PBar. I'll attach it.
A really cool thing happens when I put it in Startup. After soft reset, No Icon shows up in the taskbar, but its there. Upper right hand corner, just tap and it opens. That is really nice.
Also I have the .exe file for Hibernate. Just place it and run it from where you want. Works great to clear memory.

Just some info about the Comm Manager popups:
I'd like to thank ttran for all the awesome roms so far, they've been the best for my Wing and i'm always happy to use them, so i'd just like to see if I can't help out fixing some little issues.
I'm having the comm manager popup issues like i'm sure everyone else is, so I decided to fool around with it a little to figure out what might be causing it. While I haven't figured that out, I've tried a few things i'd like to post here:
First, I tried disabling the Comm Manager button in the Buttons control panel, thinking the keyboard might somehow be activating it. Didn't have any effect, so I don't think that's the issue.
Second, I started playing with the sliding, because it appears that's where the issue is stemming from; it usually happens after the phone is slid or a program is being closed. I played around with a few scenarios, and i've come up with some interesting findings:
I'm able to get it to reliably happen after a slide.
The Comm Manager popup can be replicated by doing the following:
1. Ensure HTC Task Manager Quick Menu is enabled and showing.
2. Close all programs
3. Slide phone open. Wait for the today items to rearrange and settle, and HTC Home to expand to fill the screen.
4. In quick succession, close the phone, then approx. 1 second later, tap in the upper right corner of the screen (Where the Quick Menu/Close Button usually is)
You will see Task Manager Quick Menu popup, followed by Comm Manager behind it.
This occurs with both landscape and portrait modes; i.e. the same can be accomplished by sliding the phone open and tapping the upper right in landscape mode approx. 1 second after opening the phone.
I've found that if I disable the Task Manager Quick Menu, the Comm Manager popup doesn't occur with this method.
Upon further testing, I've found that PocketCM is able to cause the problem in general while it's open. Simply open PocketCM, and while it's open, slide the phone. Use PocketCM's Minimize or Close function, or tap ONCE in the upper right corner, and you will see Comm Manager has opened behind it.
I've tried disabling the Today items, but that has no effect.
So to summarize, the issue happens when an application is open, and the corner of the screen is tapped after a slide. I'm not sure where to go from here, I suppose the next thing i'd try to find out is what process is opening Comm Manager or where it's getting that from, but I'm not very knowledgeable at the depths of the system here, so i'll just provide this info in the hopes that someone might be able to make some use of it.
Keep up the great work ttran!
Good stuff. That's information someone may be able to use to find a fix. I never noticed a pattern...
On a side note: 1000 posts... I talk to much. lol

Allow Ringtones from Micro SD Card:
HKCU/Control Panel/Sound Catagories/Ring/Directory: /Windows/ => /Storage Card/
***Need to create a folder on your Storage Card named My Ringtones -- or it won't work. Put any MP3 file in this folder for ringtone.
i don't have to regedit for this, all i have to do is put them in the root directory of the microSD Card, and it works

Okay I fully loaded the Storage Card with tons of apps. Tweaked everything the way I like it. Still have:
42mb Storage Memory 26 mb Program Memory. Wow. This is by far the best Rom I've ever used.
Here are a couple more .exe stand alone files you can run from where ever you like:

You can easily change the Pagepool to 6mb using QuickPagepool. Also, HTC album easily installs with .cab file. not much you can do with softkey applet but you don't have to use it. Hope this helps.

for the extra $14 (I thought it was only $5.99/mo) you get to use IM soft that requires different ports, HTC Home weather plugin, and tether without manually entering the proxy in IE. Otherwise its the same slow EDGE connection.
On T-Zones I can browse the internet, get direct-push email, contacts, and calendar from my exchange server, sync my RSS, and all other today screen weather program i have used work over the proxy. I recommend "weather to go" its free and looks good with multiple cities and different views
Until T-Mob gets off their a$$ and rolls out 3G theres no point in paying more than 6 or 7 bucks.

I guess you could say I'm a loyal T-Mobile customer since I signed on in 2003 shortly after they rolled out service in my area. Since then I've converted all my family and friends to T-Mobile (maybe 35 people total).
It is now what, 2008? Yup sounds about right... Wheres the 3G Tmobile? Even "PAC BELL > Cingular > AT&T > Cingular > at&t" has 3G. I had them for 4 years previous and hated them aside from the fact that they were my only option for a provider utilizing a sim card.
So if you could Mr/Ms T-Mobile, please put in a good word for all the loyal subscribers out here and have them hurry along with the broadband.

Well, I have flashed both the Slimline and the Lite, I really love the lite, the only problem is I really love the HTC Home. I tried to download a couple of the 6tab home's but I could not get the weather to work on it, nor could I use the HTC Customizer on. So right now unless I can find the HTC Home that ttran uses I will probably have to revert back to the Slimline, but really I like having that extra memory. I can not wait till they get the big storage done!

First time poster here...This is the first ROM I have ever flashed and I have to say its great so far!!! I have a lil problem though, whenever I try to change my default ringtone to one of my custom ringtones, it will automatically go back to the default ringtone. I can see my ringtones in the drop down, and when I go select it and hit ok, it changes back to default..I' have even tried taking a ringtone off my storage card and putting on main memory and the same thing happens. Anybody else having this problem or know a way to fix this??
Also tried changing the directory from /Windows/ to /Storage Card/ to no avail

Ok.. I think I found the problem.. I installed a program called GSPlayer for internet radio, so all my media files were associated with GSPlayer (including my ringtones). So now that my ringtone files are associated with this program, the system won't let me set them as ringtones :(... Don't know how change it back but I'm working on it, any help would be appreciated :)

I solved the comm manager problem by installing the attached cab, doesn't come up randomly anymore and fits the dialer and calculator perfectly. Before you install the cab, make sure you soft reset and DO NOT open the comm manager as Ive had some problems with files not installing properly once loaded in memory. If you want a little more speed, disable the HTC x button quick menu option on the today screen. Good luck!
Thanks for working on this issue, I will review the effects and if all is working smoothly, I will include this as an update for the next release.

I just notice this last night while trying to play back some videos for the above format... They would not play with Windows Media for some reason.
I'm going to fix this issue again, I had it fixed with v2.7 but for some reason it came back again I guess during the porting to WM 6.1
Temp fix since TCPMP is also included with the biggy rom.

When I click on the Start-Menu icon on the screen the traditional start menu comes up but when I click on the windows button the QuickMenu launches. I made sure the the settings in Quickmenu are set to replace traditional start menu but it still brings up the old start menu.

Is there any lack of performance with using the 4mb page pool vs. the 6mb?
I have Not experienced any lack of performance or stability with the 4mb pagepool. In fact I think the phone runs better at this setting. I even overclocked it to 273 and everything seems stable. Great rom !

When I click on the Start-Menu icon on the screen the traditional start menu comes up but when I click on the windows button the QuickMenu launches. I made sure the the settings in Quickmenu are set to replace traditional start menu but it still brings up the old start menu.
I cleared the storage which resets it back with a working quickmenu but after a couple of changes (enabling batterystatus with overclocking and removing HTC sprint plugin and some of the HTC home buttons) the old start menu shows up again.
Anyone else having this issue?
Found out on my own what was causing the problem. When you choose "show taskbar indicator" in batterystatus and restart the phone it does not allow quick menu to work when clicking on the screen. I disabled the feature and restarted the phone and it worked again.

Is there a reason I can't download images in my emails? It says "Internet pictures blocked" & when I click it, it just reloads the page...no pictures. Has that been disabled? Also I can't download things from the internet (ala ebuddy). The progress bar just says 0k & the page reloads. I do love this ROM still.

ttran, your roms are getting to the point of near perfection. keep up the good work.
i'd still like to see you do a clean rom someday though. just give us wm 6.1, the new radio, and updated skins (optional). all excess programs can be thrown out, and no need for any extras added really (maybe batterystatus. it's pretty safe to say almost everyone really uses that one). i'd just really like to be able to fully customize my device. the lite version is as close as i'll get... but i never use pbar or tcpmp at all. htc streaming media does all my youtube-like sites just fine, and wmp is fine for me for any other files. i'd just really like to be able to uninstall some of the apps, so if something better comes out, i don't just have to flash to another rom, or waste space.

Hi,
Currently there is a size limit I must meet when cooking the roms, it's about 51.200 MB or so. If I strip it down any more than that the rom will not work correctly. Most of the cooks including myself are currently trying to find a fix for this.
The apps included were what ZCink requested.
When I get some time tomorrow I will try to cook a clean rom with no extra apps, but it will include some of the HTC stuff to help fill up the space need for the rom to work correctly.
Plus this release and all future release will have the UC compliant feature for users to enjoy.

Ttran, another great batch of ROMs. I tried all of the 3.0 versions and have settled on the Lite ROM. It ROCKS with speed!
I did all of my normal tweaks in the registry (also i put a lot of the system services in manual start mode versus auto start - it really makes reboots much faster). I installed about 20 apps that I use regularly including Synthesis SyncML (an oracle calendar sync app), engineering calculator and view commander for watching my webcams at home, plus I use my own custom BatteryStatus theme that has an HTC looking clock, gauges, application launcher, etc. And tada - after reset, I get 30.0 RAM!!!
AWESOME!!!
The speed is there too; I feel it! I'm going to try 6mb pp now for a day or two to see if it is faster or slower.

that will be amazing! i've read about the 52mb limit on here before. i'd really like to see pbar and tcpmp gone. i've also heard that 6mb page pool speeds things up compared to a 4 mb... so that would be nice. the inclusion of either htc zip or pocket rar would be ideal too.
all other apps could easily be found on their own and installed separately.

i'd be fine even without touchflo. phm regedit is definitely my favorite, and almost a necessity if you ask me. i'd like to see album left out, as there could be better versions in the future, and being able to uninstall an old version would be very very helpful.

I put Pointui 1.02b on your Lite ROM. It does work very well for me but I am sure that others will want some thing else! Can you cook me a special dish? Your Lite with Pointui! If you need some stuff to fill the 50MB requirement, can you replace the system Tahoma font with the unicode fonts (attached - Tahoma, Verdena, and Time Roman). I spend around 2 - 4 hours per day reading Kim Dung, Co Long, ...etc.. on my T-Mobile Wing!!! I can go without TCPMP and voice recorder, Glossy Black Bars, HTC Voice Recorder, HTC Calc Skin
Opera Mini/Esmertec Jbed, and Soft Key Applet. I think pBar giving me a problem with Pointui.
Thanks for wonderful ROM. It is the best

I had installed the Slimline so I could have the Home with weather, but I am flashing the Lite today, I have rediscovered WeatherPanel again...thanks to more memory and more speed I have been running weatherpanel on the slimline and it is great, so with UL I don't need the HTC Home anymore...and other stuff, so am off to flash yet again.

it's called a glitch or bug.... it's in HTC Home.. not the ROM.
you can try opening another window blahblah..which may or may not work.
or you could just turn off HTC Home in your Today settings.. closing the window.. then going back and reactivating it. ;)

Then if its not a glitch in the Rom I can just revert back to an older version of HTC Home that worked before with all other roms right? How would i go about replacing the HTC home cooked into the rom to an older more stable version?

Hi,
Which version of my rom are you using?
I'm not sure about netfront since I have not tried it yet.
I need to know how much memory it needs, if it is a memory hog.
I need to know if it supports NetCF 3.5 or NetCF 2.0...
Most of my roms have plenty of storage and program memory.
There are reg hacks to increase performace to the rom but then it will take up program memory...

How-To Flash the HERALD-USPL-beta3:
Download and extract both files.
Place the extracted Open Touch v2.5 Biggy.nbh into the Herald-uspl-beta3/RUU folder.
Move the entire Herald-uspl-beta3 folder to the root of the c:\.
Follow the simple readme file.

when i install any of these roms i do not need to run the network wizard. i just go to connections and add the proxy numbers and change the ports to 8080. my internet, mms, and sms all work fine. maybe this will help some people having trouble with internet, sms mms. this is with to-mo 5.99 proxy hack though.

Hi,
The following is not directed to you or the folks that have been good posters.

I've been kind of upset lately with the large amounts of people PMing me demanding that I provide a version of my rom for them to recook.
I've already posted on the first page when I will be doing this but still they keep PMing me.
I feel that I've put enough hours of my free time into this forum to help others and cook roms for folks to use.
I don't mind people asking me questions, but I will not put up with folks being rude and demandnig stuff from me.
I spend at least a few days with each rom, this includes testing, recooking, and flahing my own device a bunch of times to try to produce a stable working rom.
Now, I'm at the point where I really don't care any more about this stuff...
I'm just mad at people being rude to me and demanding stuff.
I've always tried my best to fix issues and help others, I think I need to start being more of a jerk and just stop caring.

Ttran, just ignore those people. I flashed your Open Touch lite on Friday, and the only thing I can say is why I didn't do it earlier! It's the best rom I've ever used and I wish you can keep up the good working! Again, thank you!
Hi,
The following is not directed to you or the folks that have been good posters.
================================================== ======
Taking a break for awhile..

In every group of people there will always be a couple of asses. This is just life. You put out great work TTRAN and people really appriciate it. Dont let these losers piss you off. Just look at all the love your getting from the people that actually give a shit and appriciate what you do. Just throwing in my 2 cents in. Thanks again for another great release and for making my wing run how it should. I'm pretty sure I speak for everyone when I say that your work is greatly appriciated here on XDA.

is it possible to change the pagepool of your lite version to 6mb?
6mb makes everything runn faster right? or is it 4mb?

man, I know he said that response wasn't necessarily intended for me, I have never asked him to build me a rom. I cannot understand how people who are getting something as awesome as these roms have been, TOTALLY FREE with all the the free tech support straight from the creator, could possibly demand anything more let alone be rude about it as well!! Ttran I love these roms and am currently using 3.0 slimline even though my sig doesn't reflect it yet. if this were your last release ever I would be forever greatful for what I have already received!! thanks!

Wow, I'll just put it out there--good job, you picky dumbasses. To those who made ttran react like this, remember an important rule in life: Beggars can't be choosers. Unfortunately, a few people decided to ruin it for the rest of us while the rest takes whatever we can get from these coders. ttran, take all the time you need because as you can see, the number of pages in this thread compared to the older versions means that this is the best ROM to date, thanks.

ttran- your ROMs Rock!
They are running circles around the ROMs put out by multi-billion dollar companies!!!
Anyone who complains should be forced back to the stock ROM where the phone's camera etc won't even function due to buggy software. Then maybe they would appreciate what a great product you are GIVING AWAY FOR FREE!!!!
It's seriously like going to the free soup kitchen and complaining about the flavor of the soup WTF people?
Please keep in mind for every complainer there 50 people who love & appreciate your work. You should also be getting kickbacks from Tmobile because they would be getting A LOT more wing returns without your wonderful ROMs
Taking a break is good but please don't forget about all of the people who's lives have been improved by your work :)

I need help on specific details of the steps in between these two steps. I do what it says, but the screen stays white and when it does get to the updgrade image ROM screen it lists the same version as what i have on there.
Step 6. Follow the directions on the screen. EXACTLY.
Your screen on your cell phone will go white around the 75% part of the "second step" now.
ActiveSync will LOOSE its connection.
Step 7. One step 3 on that black window, the RUU flasher will pop up. Just follow the steps

Just want to tell you how much I appreciate all you've done. Your latest rom is far superior to the stock T-Mobile rom. Its the perfect rom to me. I can't believe that anyone would discourage you so much.
But, I don't blame you. People are getting worse. Rude, demanding, arrogant. Who needs it. You've done all this for free. To me you're amazing. I've noticed that you try to please everybody, but everyone cannot be pleased.
I hope people will stop bothering you.

Open Touch v3.0 Biggy - WM 6.1 Build 19199.1.0.0 | NetCF 3.5 | 02062008(MMS doesnt work with this ROM)
Open Touch v3.0 Biggy - WM 6.1 Build 19199.1.0.0 | NetCF 3.5 | Windows Live/IM(MMS works fine with this ROM)
its preety weird.. but MMS works with the Rom that includes Windows live. :D

OMG! Been busy in meetings all day get home and look on here and all I can say is CRAP!
I was gonna say I can't believe that some people are so pushy and demanding then I stopped and remembered the world we live in.
I for one am very happy with ttran's ROMS he is an amazing cooker and he does good work and is always helpful.
It is too bad that some people flash without reading, just like they talk (type) without thinking...and they just panic wayyyyyy too fast!
I am using Open Touch Lite and guess what, everything works!!!! I have been tweaking this thing with software for the last two days and setting up my UL and it is looking great!! Got remarks on it today..and it is fast...others in the office have a Wing and a Kaiser and mine is wayyyyyyy faster then theirs!!
ttran, take a rest if you must, but remember that there are those of us on here that really appreciate all the hard work and the time you put into bringing us the most awesome ROMS!! I really hope you won't be gone long, cause you will be greatly missed.

Hey im just gonna say thanks Ttran for ur work, I went from Touch-it to this one and I believe this is actually better, less buggy.
However, I got a small issue maybe someone can help me with. At first my txt notifications would work, vibrate and ring as it was set up to do. But now, the screen just lights up, no vibrate or ring. I tried it on vibrate and on the Normal profiles. I've experienced this problem in the past with Touch-it roms.
I currently got the Biggy with WL.

awesome job on everything man, this rom makes the pain of reading through HARD-spl all good.
quick question, is anyone else having a problem with BS displaying the wrong % left on their phone? its not a battery drain issue, but say it has lost 5% over 4 hours of music listening, and then after you reload the theme, its down to 25% loss

Question #1. Where do I donate...
Question #2. I have been waiting to upgrade from 2.7. Is it worth the upgrade? I see a lot of people giving praise to the upgrade, but not so much as far as why it is so great. I guess I just don't get the appeal of the upgrade over 2.7.

Are you a littlle kid or a foreigner? That's not how beggars talk to someone who's giving them something for free. Either:
1) Flash to the other different versions and see if they have the problems (I'm using the SlimLine and I don't have this issue).

Remember, you're getting these ROMs for FREE, there are things you have to live with.

I've noticed the comm manager problem before, but generally a soft reset gets rid of it. I actually have to open it though it seems for it to start the pop up sequence. it also helps if i terminate it since i use the wktask program running (allows you to tab through open windows like on your task bar on windows)
it seems like its not closing like you cant get the phone program to close unless i terminate it also. although once open it tends to keep poping up. hope that info may help a little, i wouldnt mind seeing afix to be able completely close the phone app out when done talking but im ok wih closing it using terminate for now.

I've already tried that before, still got the same stinking issue...
Commanager and x-button fix
Ok so i've tried something that seemed to have fixed the commManger issue always popping up randomly, and before i noticed that when u hit the X button it doesnt close any programs, only minimizes them.
I installed the CommManager_8button_wizard.cab (thanks to theformula on post #250) and by tap and holding on the battery icon next to the battery meter in the batterystatus plugin (today screen) and then select "task manager" and then "close programs on [X]". This will close the programs when u hit "X" AND it will prevent commManager from random pop ups.

text/multimedia (when I create a new message it opts for mms and sms)
mms (only creates mms)
also, will you be putting the new HTC Camera v 4.11 on your next make?

Hello everyone,
I have been reading this forum and I must say this forum is the reason I bought my T-Wing, and since then, I've been having fun trying lots of cool this.
BIG THANKS to everyone that has taken time and effort to help make lead heads like me feel cool.
Meanwhile I have a problem, and it relates to my lead-head......CAN I GO AHEAD AND FLASH TTRAN'S Open Touch v3.0 ROM, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE THE HARD-SPL? or DO I HAVE TO GET RID OF HARD-SPL FIRST?
I have read thru the thread but I cannot seem to understand the steps. Dont wanna brick my phone. Meanwhile I have succesfully flashed two of itje's ROMs.
Any positive help would be appreciated....TIA

Open "TF Settings" check "enable cube" and "enable scroll" click "ok", soft reset when prompted.
I have tried just checking "enable scroll" but for whatever reason when you soft reset like it asks you to, then go back in, only "enable cube" is checked.

Yes, you have to HARD-SPL first.
Then what I personally do, is delete the canonyang.nbh in the HardSpl_WM6 folder, and drop in the new .nbh file, then run the ROMUpdateUtility.exe and it will install the new OS on your device. Nice and simple.

An NBH is an NBH. Whether the cook prefers HardSPL or USPL, it's still an NBH flashable by EITHER one.

I just flashed this ROM and I must say it's awesome.....I'll be changing some buttons to contrast the background.....meanwhile, does anyone know how to save phone numbers directly on the sim rather than contact lists which gets wiped out when another ROM replaces an existing one.
I have already lost phone numbers to 2 hot chicks.....well, errr, one is hot, the other is "butterhead."
Thanks.

You DON´T have to get rid of the Hard-SPL...
If you have SPL 4.70.YANG
then you can start flashing every ROM you want. If not follow theformulas instruction or mine given in HARD-SPL thread

I just wondered about taking some apps from the Biggy. Can I delete app and lnk files out of the Windows folder and clean up the start menu manually without too many issues.
Also, is there a Reg cleaner out for WM6?

I upgraded my and my girls phone to the latest open-touch 6.1 for our wings, and I'm very happy with it.
The only thing she pointed out was that should could not sent mms
After I ran the upgrade i ran the networ wizard and restarted the phone.
When I go to connections I see my t-mobile connection but is there anything else i need to do, I did a search on this thread and it mentions a proxy and port 8080 where would I need to put that in?
any help would be appreciated

I really need to add this to the FAQ section, I've posted this pretty much in every release now..
The scrolling feature is built in, once random access has been included it will disable it. Please do the following to disable random access and reenable the scrolling feature.
===========================
With random access you must do the following to enable contact scrolling.
Click on the contacts button at the lower right hand side of the screen.
Click on the Menu button
Click on Options
Uncheck "Show alphabetical index
Click on the ok button to exit
Now I know the following will sound strange but it will enable scrolling in the contact menu.
Repeat the following steps again, and the random acess bar on the right handside will go away and scrolling will work again.
Click on the Menu button
Click on Options
Uncheck "Show alphabetical index
Click on the ok button to exit
If you want to enable random access, just go back and uncheck the "Show alphabetical index"
This has also been added to the FAQ now.

ttran001,
Reading the forums briefly, your rom was the rom (biggy edition) I selected, and the first rom that I've ever flashed onto any phone. I love it!
I'm new to this, yes, and I really appreciate the your quick and helpful response!
One minor thing to report is the clock. *Sometimes* when I run an app and exit out and return to the home screen, it seems as if the clock has shifted, or the right side of the screen has shifted and the "M" on "PM" is a little cut off.
I fix it by going to settings->personal->today and just exiting out by clicking ok. It seems to "refresh" the screen back to normal. Don't know what it is, but just reporting in :)
Again, I appreciate your hard work! You've made it feel like I just bought an exciting new phone. :)

As for the phone being exciting, yes it is...
I run into people with different types for example the iphone.. Nothing wrong with the iphone only the users I ran into..
They would talk a lot about how my phone is not any good compared to theirs since they have an iphone.
After reviewing the features they have on their iphone and my own version of the biggy they always seems to stop talking..
I don't know why but it always seems to happen that way....

I have that problem too sometime, the easy way to fix that is to touch to display other htc home feature (weather, contact, etc) and touch back to the clock.

It's thinner... feels physically sturdier, it has a spring loaded mechanism. Compared to my coworker's MDA, it seems that with a good ROM, it's much faster accessing its storage... but I never saw a difference when I first moved from the MDA myself. It lacks an IR (useless to me) and the "flashlight" camera flash (useful to me.) It's got better styling... feels a lot less bulky. I dunno what to tell you. lol

Then some say a certain version of my rom works and another does not..
They are all built on the same base, I either removed or added apps to them..
I'm here today and will try to fix some of the issues people are having..
But I will only fix issues that are related to the rom itself.

Well, I've done that but when I'm moving my stylus/finger over the HTC home plugin nothing happens (I suppose that this is how it should work right?)
Try is...
/Start/Programs/TouchFlo/TFSettings
Choose View Mode: Top to Bottom
Click the ok button to save, do not reboot/soft reset yet.
No go to /Start/Programs/TouchFlo/Touchsettings
Click on the save button, since I've already preset the settings.
Now soft reset your device...
Once it comes back on, give it a second..
Then swipe your finger from the top Bar(in the midle of the top bar) to the bottom bar.
The first time the cube is activated it will react slow, once the names of the icons pop up you can swipe the screen and it will do the same for the other two screen. Once all screens have been activated it will move very fast.
Please give this a try and report back.

There you go.
I was trying it in the home plugin only and you need to do it from the top of the screen. Doh..
Thanks again!

ttran001: Thanks for the awesome ROM... makes the stock Wing look like crap. It's now better than the iphone! To answer your question, I have the MS Mobile on the start menu and it works great.
What I'm missing out on is the MyFav's application, can you provide a rom or files to it? It's a big hassle to call 611 or go on the web to change contacts for myfavs. Thanks so much for the ROM.

I'm currently not cooking any more roms for awhile, but on the next release or update will include a version with myfavs since I have notice a lot of folks need it or want it.
At this point I'm only here to try and help people out since I'm so burned out with cooking roms and getting a lot of rude demands from folks via pm..
Hang tight,

I´m using Open Touch v3.0 Biggy - WM 6.1 Build 19199.1.0.0 | NetCF 3.5 | 02062008 and have no problems with it at all.
Since it was asked by you ttran001 i will report that for me it´s no problem sending or recieving MMS with this version. Using it on an unbranded p4350 for your information.

I really need to add this to the FAQ section, I've posted this pretty much in every release now..
The scrolling feature is built in, once random access has been included it will disable it. Please do the following to disable random access and reenable the scrolling feature.
===========================
With random access you must do the following to enable contact scrolling.
Click on the contacts button at the lower right hand side of the screen.
Click on the Menu button
Click on Options
Uncheck "Show alphabetical index
Click on the ok button to exit
Now I know the following will sound strange but it will enable scrolling in the contact menu.
Repeat the following steps again, and the random acess bar on the right handside will go away and scrolling will work again.
Click on the Menu button
Click on Options
Uncheck "Show alphabetical index
Click on the ok button to exit
If you want to enable random access, just go back and uncheck the "Show alphabetical index"
This has also been added to the FAQ now.
How do I know if random access is included? I have followed these instructions & I can't get the contacts to scroll. I am running v3.0 without WIndows Live IM.
Also on the MMS issue, the "To" field doesn't look to match names from my contacts list, it looks to match words from the dictionary. If I type"ta", instead of bringing up "Tammy" or "Tara", it will bring up "talk" instead. On another note, my MMS messages get hung up in the outbox as well. I just sent on to myself & I will report back as to if I ever receive it.

Random access, it should be included, and if your not able to get it working with the steps provide.. I will have to rethink another way of wording it.
As for MMS, I dont use it at all, but will try and find a fix for it..
Does anybody else have this issue with MMS?

I'm pretty sure this is commercialware and would guess that it will not be included.
ttran,
Sorry to hear things have gone to shit via PM. Please don't let them get to you bro. You do great work and have always been quick to re-answer the same questions that you and the rest of your beta team answer 100 times a day in the nicest manner possible.
In regards to the SMS/MMS thing, I have 3.0 slim flashed and have never had a problem sending or recieving them. If I still had a functioning computer at home, I'd flash your different versions and try to confirm this for you bro, and I kinda hope that the rest of the team would as well.
Oh, and I have to toss in a personal request - can the team at least get a PM talking about the new features in 4.0? I'm getting antsy to find out myself!
Keep up the great work dude!

Yep, I just tested and it suggested words instead of contacts.

I went to check my proxy settings & found that my proxy was missing. The socks was filled in correctly but the http was gone. I re-input it & the MMS was sent (& received) by me after that. I will attempt to send MMS to a different carrier now. I would suggest that the folk who are having troubles with MMS make sure the proxy hasn't disappeared. Just my 2 cents from my experience.
