hey, how's everyone doing? well i have the lite version of thsi rom and i tried to change the page pool on it and when i hit soft reset it wont get past the Open Touch load up page. any suggestions please help someone

I changed my pagepool before flashing using an app that is located on the teaserpage for cleanrom. it automatically detects the offset and everything, and you only have to flash it.

Firstly, let me say that this is an awesome ROM. Very stable and fast. Only app I have problems with is the HTC Album that keep hanging up when I am viewing photos.
I used the Voice Control all the time in my original T-Mobile ROM. I travel a lot in my car and I loved the hands free Bluetooth dialing and voice anouncements of new messages.
Is there any chance of getting this back into the ROM? or can I download this feature and add it myself? I've searched but cannot find a download.
I heard that the voice control in 6.1 is supposed to be much better than 6.0 even though I had no problems with the 6.0 version.

how did you flash the rom? did you use USPL or Hard-SPL?
If you used USPL, then i would try going back to tmobile's RUU (i'm assuming you have a wing) then flashing this one again.

If you Hard-SPL'ed your phone, the flash should have worked.

Is anyone having issues with the proxy settings disappearing after syncing up with a PC? Everytime I connect to a pc to transfer something my proxy gets erased. After flasing the bios, I've ran the network wizard and added the HTC proxy weather. everything works fine except when I connect to a pc, then the proxy gets erased. Anyone else having this issue?

If your still able to get to the bootloader menu then you should be able to flash the original rom back on.

Pleae provide more detail as to how you tried to change the pagepool size.

Failing that, I have attempted to flash via Herald-USPL Beta 3, but nothing ever happens and the program eventually closes. I have followed the instructions for this exactly.

I have read and read and read to solve this, but after two weeks I am lost and annoyed. However, I really want to use this ROM rather than the stock for all the reasons I have read regarding how well my PPC will run.

If anyone can guide me to success it would be greatly appreciated. The only thing I have not yet tried-but will if necessary-is loading Vista Ultimate onto my PC.

I have used these instructions and it worked flawlessly. I also was coming from a T-Mobile ROM on XP. As long as your computer can see your device with Activesync, it should work.

I have never had any issues with activesync and this rom.
Please try and reboot your computer, then soft rest your device and then try and rync the device.

Also, did you store you phone numbers on your device or the sim?

If your contacts/phone numbers were stored on your sim card, they will still be there. Since I enabled the hide sim feature.

I had that (or a similar) issue as well. When I researched it on the Microsoft website, it said that a specific file on my phone could be the culprit. I ended up just reflashing & starting over, rather than try to figure out which file it was. Good luck with it though.

MSVC works for me.... better than it did with the 6.0 roms... maybe its the fact that i bought a better headset but it DOES work. I will attach, hotlink, or PM you the cab I used if you like when i get to my home PC. You may also want to confirm that your registry settings are correct. There are some old posts dealing with VSD over bluetooth...Just point the necessary keys to MSVC instead.

Thanks to anyone and everyone involved with this ROM. I just got my new wing last friday and Flashed it to the Biggie rom w/live. so far it has worked great with only a few hiccups. I thought I would report on the only issues I have had to date to see if I can help that way.
I flashed my wing using the USPL instructions and have not tried the Hard-spl yet.
1. MMS is not working correctly, I can receive mms messages but they wont open. it says it's downloading the message but just stops after a minute or two. I havent been able to send at all it seems.
2. when I first loaded the rom the HTC Home Weather was working perfectly. I found I couldnt use my local city and tried to patch the problem with some of the posts I have found here but to no avail. now not only can I NOT add the cities I want but the program will not update on any city. I have tried the 2.1 cab file patch but same results. (this is probably my fault entirely)
3. when I open the programs folder, initially it seems to hang for 30 to 45 seconds before opening all the way. (strange)
I am not complaining at all. I am very greatful to to you guys for making my phone experience better than stock....
BTW, I had exactly the same issue with the arcsoft MMS on my SMT 5600 that I had flashed to Roewens WM5 rom a year or so ago. never could get it to work either. maybe it's just me...:)

It seems that the processor in certain Wings are not as high of a quality as others. It's all speculation, I have never had any problems going to 273 but others have the same issue that you do. Unfortunately, you will probably just have to be restricted to 247.

What I had to do is uncheck the xcsdm box and save.. then exit.
next go to the bluetooth settings . highlight the headset and hold with stylus and should bring up a menu. select "Set as Hands-Free".

When I left for work this morning, VC was still not working thru BT. I had anouncements working fine and was receiving them all day at work.
I left work and went to redial my last number using my BT button and amazingly the VC came into action and it's now working.
I'm gonna look more and se if I can work out why when my girls have gone to bed.

After two weeks of intense troubleshooting, Occam's Razor wins again: I attempted flashing on my wifes computer (same configuration as mine), and it worked perfectly from the start! I still don't know what the exact issue is, but I know it is not network or connection-based.

That said: F*CK, YEAH! What an amazing piece of work! I didn't put my phone down for several hours.

Thanks very much for allowing me to use this ROM, because you could easily charge for it and most would pay.

when u do the reg edit correctly and save it, when u go to options/mms on the bottom where it says, size limit, u should be able to set it or it should be set to 1200k.

i used total commander.
if i go to the options/server/ t-mobile mms and it still says 300k, go back and make sure the edit is still the same. p.s i set my mms to tmobile data, not mms.

When I had my original stock ROM on my WING, I had Batter Meter installed and I was overclocked to 265. When I do this now with Open Touch V3 installed, My screen goes all nuts and I have to drop it back to 220 somthing. Any ideas why this would have changed?

I don't think it is the v3.0 I'm running with 286MHz w/o any problems.

I agree. I dont understand how the new ROM could change how the processor overclocks, but before I upgraded my ROM I could overclock without any problems. The only other reason I can think is that the processor is getting less stable from all the previous overclocking.
Any know if this is possible?

Well since yesterday I have found some interesting things I hope someone else can confirm: First let me say that I am with Tmobile using their $5.99 tmoweb service.
I had setup the proxy settings as instructed but couldnt download my gmail or mms messages. I ran the network wizard and it deleted the proxy settings automatically but then I noticed my gmail connection working???? before I got the (error syncronising) message when I tried to send/receive manually with both the gmail account and my mms. now I am getting the emails and the mms acts like its working but nothing gets sent or received actually. also the Htc home weather is working now as well......strange....

This might be the version of batterystatus is different then the one you used before. I've always been able to over clock my device without issues.

I'm running at 270+ without issues.

More details about how to flash this rom has been added to the first page under the FAQ section.

Then follow these steps:

II. How do I flash an NBH file?

a. USPL

Step 1. Download Herald-USPL-Beta3. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=A4N36HLO

Step 2. UnZIP the file into a folder on your Desktop. Let's call it "MyFirstROM" for simplicity's sake. Notice that there is a folder called RUU within this folder now. Keep that in mind.

Step 3. Download your NBH file and unZIP or unRAR it into that RUU folder. Make sure that that NBH file ends up in the RUU folder, not within a folder inside the RUU folder.

Step 4. Place your phone into flightmode.

Step 5. Go back to the MyFirstROM folder and then run USPL.exe

Step 6. Follow the directions on the screen. EXACTLY.

* Your screen on your cell phone will go white around the 75% part of the "second step" now.
* ActiveSync will LOOSE its connection.

Step 7. One step 3 on that black window, the RUU flasher will pop up. Just follow the steps.

That's it. :-) Welcome to the flasher's world.

Constant dispersal of the processor can lead to such result. I know real cases.
I recommend to use only dynamic dispersal.

I changed it a little since then. I locked the LG Menu to the bottom and removed battery status from the home screen. I also got Weatherpanel and put it as one of the sides to my UltimateLaunch cube.

If your contacts/phone numbers were stored on your sim card, they will still be there. Since I enabled the hide sim feature.

No thats not the case and i did not get a chance trying syncing off my laptop. i had all my numbers fine untill i plugged back into my computer the other day and it gave me the error and all my contacts were gone.

i really want to try and check it out some more tonight, hopefully ill be able to find time to.

I had that (or a similar) issue as well. When I researched it on the Microsoft website, it said that a specific file on my phone could be the culprit. I ended up just reflashing & starting over, rather than try to figure out which file it was. Good luck with it though.

this is odd because i havent installed anything different than normal. sdsentry for storage card monitoring, wktask for the taskbar up top, and sms smileys for inbox smile faces. everything else i use is preloaded into 3.0 biggie with windows live stuff

consider this a total noob question...i have flashed many cdma roms but i know nothing about gsm...

do i need to flash the 3.27 radio rom to this device in order to run wm6.1, or is it not required for gsm???...seems by your post that i only need to load the USPL...if that is the case, then i can follow your steps with no trouble...

*EDIT* i found the answer to my question...the 3.27 radio rom is a cdma radio and therefore it is concluded that i will not need to flash the radio to install this rom...wow- i love the gsm...less work for me...

It is not a big deal, it just screws up the great flow of the screen.

Does anybody have issues with MMS? I just want to make sure that's all.

Yes. I am having an issue with it... When someone sends me an MMS message, it keeps attempting to DL it but it never actually gets downloaded.. I get a message at the bottom saying "Error Synchronizing" Before it would attempt to and successfully do it... I haven't tried sending one neither but I am not sure if I can even do that as well...

Edit... I have just DL the 2 MMS cab files on pg 65 and I can send an MMS fine but its still having a hard time receiving them...

ttran, I'm also having an issue - I can send and recieve fine, except recieved pictures always show as videos, and there's no attachment. It seems to think there is, but the "Objects" softkey brings up an empty window. It did this before and after I installed the cabs from page 65, and also on the zcink/lite rom.

MSVC works for me.... better than it did with the 6.0 roms... maybe its the fact that i bought a better headset but it DOES work. I will attach, hotlink, or PM you the cab I used if you like when i get to my home PC. You may also want to confirm that your registry settings are correct. There are some old posts dealing with VSD over bluetooth...Just point the necessary keys to MSVC instead.

The latest raido is included with this release. It will consum more battery power but will increase your reception.

Will this affect anything and is this they way it is supposed to be? I had changed mine to T-Mobile and it still worked but when I changed it back to AT&T, it didnt work anymore.. Has anyone else noticed this?

Since the original batt stat is in the rom it can't be removed, it can't be replaced either. The registry settings could be changed and when you installed the newer version the registry settings would get overridden with the newer versions' reg settings. Those settings would point to where-ever the new version is installed.
So as long as both aren't running i'd say you'd be fine, only bummer is you couldn't free up space by removing the old one since it's cooked into the rom.
I'm not sure about running batt stat from the sd slot but i'd say that would be the safest way to go.

I flashed my phone and got open touch working great, after a couple of weeks it suddenly started making this loud noise, every time I hit the red (hang up) button, even with the keys locked. it also makes the noise when I hit the green (call) button when i call some one.

the first time, I did a hard reset and it fixed it, but yesterday the phone's battery died on me, and when I charged it and turned it on. it was doing it again.

Great ROM ttran. Flashed my wing earlier today at work and it is much faster. Data connection seems faster and more stable also.

Only problem I have had is some screens freezing but after a couple of soft resets I haven't had anymore issues with that yet.

All in all great work. I started reading about the time where you had left due to some negative feedback from ungrateful users. Almost caused me to go elsewhere. Glad I decided to go with it.

Did you make sure the active sync was not running in the background. I was having the same problem and that solved it for me. go start then see if the active sync is running and close it then try to sync.

i did a soft reset and turned off the sync and connected to xp sp2 and no luck i did a hard reset and turned off active sync and the same thing it makes a sound like i connected and disconnected multiple usb devices im reboot and try vist Ulti

The best rom I have used. Period! Any word on the new version (4.0). cant wait for it to be released. I am looking at the Forum and there are so many releases popping every day. But, I am more than satisfied with 3.0 and I know 4.0 will be superior to the rest.

Can we include more games in the new version or tell me where I can find the cabs. My kid loves playing with the wing!

ttran.. i just found out that BTAGExtModule.dll was missing from 3.0 slimline which prevented bluetooth function (dialling from bluetooth).
But I did see that you have fixed the registry enteries. So only thing missing is the actual dll (BTAGExtModule.dll) in windows folder.

i did everything above. the part thats bolded im havin a hard time doing. i go to mms as if im sendin a picture mail. i go to menu --> options. thats where i get stuck. i dont see mms options. all i see is background, text layout, color, etc.

Still awesome work on V3. Once installed and working, the VoiceCommand is so much more responsive than before. Everything is so much more responsive. Cube works like a dream but can someone explain all its features.
When I set the layout to Top to Bottom I can stroke the screen from top to bottom and cube pops up but I cant get the other options to work.

Well after a week of using this great ROM, I finally got MMS sorted out with your help....
it seems my settings were a little off but they were what I downloaded.

my settings were: Gateway: 216.155.165.050 with port number: 80
when I removed the zero in front of the (50) and added the other (80) it started working. FYI, I am with Tmobile using the Atlanta Regional plan (3000) anytime minutes and the 400 any messages with the $5.99 tmobileweb data plan.

maybe this will help someone else, as I thought I had checked and re-checked my settings a hundred times trying to get it to work but this seems to be the only tweaks I needed.

Works great, I love actually having more than 10mb of free RAM now.

Alright, now that Ive had a day to play with it, two questions, the second one being related to the first.

Does the Biggy version include the Cube? (I would guess so, but I wanted to be sure)

My second question: How do you use it? Ive enabled the cube, and scrolling, and used the Touch It Default settings, as well as trying other view settings, and going from what Ive seen and read about the Cube, a swipe should get the cube to move, yet... I cannot get the cube to move at all.

I do kinda feel like a dope for not figuring it out :-p

Ok, after having problems forever trying to get MMS working on this ROM using the Tzones Proxy Hack..... I think I finally solved it. It works for me at lease.

I think a keypoint is to double, triple and quadruple check all your settings.


PART 1

T-ZONES PROXY SETUP

Start Menu
Click Settings
Select Connections Tab
Select Connections (on the page)
Select "Set up my proxy server"
Select Proxy Settings (tab at bottom)
Put in checkmarks for both "This network connects to the internet" AND "This network uses a Proxy server to connect to the Internet"
In the proxy server box enter: 216.155.165.50
Click on Advanced
Tap HTTP
Change the server setting to: 216.155.165.50
Changer the port setting to 8080
Username: leave blank
Password: leave blank

I have found that unless I have a good signal, my MMS will NOT GO THRU.
If I have one or 2 bars, the MMS will get stuck 50% or so.
If I have 3 to 4 bars, the MMS goes out rather quickly.
Also, when I try to send manually, via: Start >> Messages >> MMS >> Menu >> Send/Recieve --- I get an "Error Synchronization" message on the bottom left corner... though eventually I do receive my MMS*Please post your results if you use this method.

MS Voice command will work with it, I'm running a personal version with it included and it works fine. The only thing I don't like about voice command is that it likes to auto start which will reduce your program memory.

Thus, I really don't want to release a version with it...I'm able to get it to fit into the biggy version but then users will complain about the program memory droping...

I need a link to direction on how to install (Open Touch v3.0 Biggy - WM 6.1 Build 19199.1.0.0 | NetCF 3.5 | Windows Live/IM). I have an OTB Wing with WM 6. On that version of Open Touch do I need WM 6.1 or does it install it for me? Also will my OTB Wing be able to handle all of those apps?

Was running Touch It 2.3 before my Wing flew out of my hand into a glass of water.

New Value: 1228800 (1200K)

This has happened to me 3 times so far, each time I use it as a chance to flash the newer version of Biggy 3.0 but now I'm on the last one I hope we can find a fix. I can't reproduce it either.

I have installed the Touch Biggy v3.0 on my TMobile Wing. When trying to overclock to anything over 247, my screen goes black over even scrambled. Once i have set it for 247, it holds for about 15 mins., then goes back to 201. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong or why it won't stay at 247?

I have also had this problem but not just with ttran ROMs. the only fix I found I noticed I had multiple inbox folders on my sd card. I removed all of them and email and sms worked again. not sure why this has happened or why multiple inbox folders are being created. still looking into this

By default, Music Player loads all the song files that are on your phone. Is there a tweak to setup this app so it only loads music files from a specific directory?

I'm not seeing this problem. I slid the keyboard out and then back in so fast the screen was still switching to landscape mode, and it was fine when it switched back to portrait.

Mik0 had it right but to make it happen you need to have some appointments or tasks on the home screen - not enough to put a scroll bar on the screen in portrait mode but enough to put the scroll bar on in landscape mode. Once you switch back to portrait, the original saved screen is repainted *before* the scrollbars are removed. Once the scroll bars are removed the right side of the screen (typically the year of the date, for example) will be lost.

Nothing to do with speed of switching. :D

yes it still works, well at least here in chicago it does. make sure you dump your $30 plan and get the $5.99, & go into settings-connections-connections and set the phone to use a proxy setting wich will be 216.155.165.50 port 8080 then:

since google maps and live search are on the Rom does this mean the cache is on the phone? live search will not let me move it to the card as all the options are none. google doesn't seem to even give the option. if this is the case wouldn't it be better to leave this off the rom and instal as a cab to the sd card?

Why does is my screen calibration always off every other moment.

I pull up the calibration screen like u see when u just freshly update a rom on ur phone, and in another moment, whenever I tap an icon on my screen another portion of the screen is activated.

For example, I may tap the weather icon on the HTC "TODAY" home screen and instead my contact list is pulled up.

Any fix to this or am I just doing something wrong?

when my phone changed time for daylights savings, all the appointments in the calender moved ahead an hour (i.e. an appointment that starts at 3pm now say 4pm.) When I got to edit the appointment, the time is correct, but when the appointment is displayed, it is an hour ahead; this also causes the appointment reminders to be an hour ahead. has anyone else run into this problem? is there a way to fix it, or do i just have to edit all my appointments an hour early? I have the 3.0 wm6.1 slimline version w/o the cube, if that matters..

For no reason opentouch started to do this:

When on a call you received another call or call waiting ( whatever ), the noise you hear when you have a call dropped started to go off until, either you had to hang up because you couldn't take it anymore or you just threw your phone against the wall.

The default theme is windows default, its wallpaper and not a theme.

Enable cube = means the touchflo cube, you choose which option you want to activate the cube.

That is not the Touchflo Cube. What you are talking about is the HTC Home item on the Today screen.

Refer to the following picture, which explains what those settings mean:

In case you didn't catch that, what it means is that if, for example, you choose "top to bottom" (after you make your selection, click OK, then reboot), you would slide your finger/stylus from the top part of the screen to the bottom part in a natural fluid motion. And that should bring up the Touchflo Cube, which is depicted in the three rightmost screenshots in this image:

You slide your finger right-to-left or left-to-right in order to rotate the cube after it has been activated.


The scrolling feature is for scrolling without using the scrollbar. You can test it by viewing a website in Pocket IE (aka, PIE) and using that same fluid motion to scroll through the page. The gestures are dependent on speed, so it's mainly about timing. You'll eventually get the hang of it.

when my phone changed time for daylights savings, all the appointments in the calender moved ahead an hour (i.e. an appointment that starts at 3pm now say 4pm.) When I got to edit the appointment, the time is correct, but when the appointment is displayed, it is an hour ahead; this also causes the appointment reminders to be an hour ahead. has anyone else run into this problem? is there a way to fix it, or do i just have to edit all my appointments an hour early? I have the 3.0 wm6.1 slimline version w/o the cube, if that matters..

Same thing happened to me yesterday. My entire day of appointments got screwed up. It was a bad scene. Its nothing to do with this rom, there was a windows mobile fix that I didnt download that was supposed to correct the issue.

I dont.....I remember seeing an update from Windows Mobile Circle about it. It doesn't matter now though. Once Daylight Savings time happened, everything changed but it doesn't mess with them any more. It was just an unpleasant day.

had the same problem...try using the 'hibernate' options one on the quick start menu and the other Oxios Hibernate under programs, it frees up extra space so u dont have to reset..also make sure ur overclockin is still set correctly under baterry status...ive noticed when i reset it sometimes goes back to '201mhz'

On battery status, if you check "close program on [x]". Then on the quick menu, if you check on "long press win logo" : System start menu, it will not work. But it still work if you choose other options.

When I first flashed to opentouch zcink, I had a problem with MMS. Messages would download fine, show correct sze, but there would be no attachments. I tried everything I coulf think of but ultimately had to flash a new rom. The issue went away when I flashed with biggy. MMS messages had their attachments. Well it's back now and I never changed any of my settings.

Any ody else run into this one? I'm gonna try a hhard reset later and reload my apps one after another and see if anything is conflicting.

Edit: It's the Audio Manager from poorlyduck's Vista Suite. Everything else works great, but as soon as I install the AM, it breaks MMS. Uninstall it and everything's good. Wish I knew that before I hard reset.

It randomly freezes, and now just began refusing to connect to activesync. I've hard reset the phone and disabled all the feautues such as batterystatus, but still no luck.

I need to connect to activesync, but I'm not sure what to do. Every time I plug my phone in both the phone and the computer start the sync, but the computer soon gives an error saying it could not connect. Troubleshooting does me no good. Any suggestions?

ive had the same issue with gmail. ill send an email, and get a notifaction bubble saying u cant send this email right now, please check ur pw or sum crap.. but if u keep pressing send it will eventually, just gotta watch it in the draft folder, and make sure it moves to the sent folder.

Activesync can be picky, what I usually do is uninstall activesync on my computer then go into program files and delete the activesync folder. Then go into activesyne on the phone and delete the sync profiles. Then reinstall activesync and connect your phone to the usb.

If you think your phone is defective you might want to flash it back to the stock tmobile ROM and send it back...

I'm having pretty much the same problems with mms. I can send but I can't receive. I've tried downloading the mms cab a few pages back to no avail. I've checked my settings over and over again and I haven't found anything wrong, unless I'm overlooking something :). I've tried reflashing and hard resetting also.

Update: I did some tinkering again :), and I sent a mms to myself and received it. Checking if I can receive for another phone now..

Update 2: MMS is working, I unchecked retrieve MMS immediately and ran the network wizard AGAIN just in case. So if anybody else is having problems try this!!

Is anyone else having trouble loading big movie files onto their storage card with Active Sync? They're around 200MB and in .mp4 format. It'll say it's loading and then halfway through, starts the process again!

Edit: I guess this is a common problem with ActiveSync. Either a third-party program (don't know of any) or a separate card reader can help this. Why is the process of moving files so slow anyway, even if the 'convert files' option is unchecked...geez Microsoft.

first let me say that i love the opentouch 3.0 biggy. i just flashed it last night and its really fun. i have just one little problem. when i click on my menu tray in the middle i have added the video button. when i click on it i get the file browse and i direct it to my storage card where my movies are, but it doesn't see them. any ideas?

so I placed open touch 3.0 biggy into my RUU folder. My current image version is 4.10.531.3 and to 4.10.531.2 (open touch). It doesn't matter if it's an older version? shouldn't it be .3? Newb question. :D

I've been running the first release of the 3.0 lite version (no cube) for while now. It was working fine except for a few glitches when text messaging and some other minor stuff. Now all of a sudden my phone is running really slow, not sure why.. i was thinking of updating to 4.0, but i've been reading the thread and it seems like it's still buggy. I just want a simple ROM that runs fast.. i don't need all the bells and whistles. There are a million pages on this thread.. have there been any updates with the 3.0 rom since it's original release on the first page of this thread? If not, does anyone has a suggestion on what I should do to get my phone running smooth again? Please help!

when i lock the phone the volume slider doesn't lock with the rest of the keys.. you can still adjust the volume while the phone is locked. anyone else run into this problem? is there a fix for this? a registry tweak maybe?

Nvm i got it. For some reason I have to turn something else on for it to show that airplane was actually off. Then I was able to turn airplane mode on. Weird.

Go to settings then to today and make sure it is checked, then from your home screen hold your stylus on it until a lil menu comes up and click on options then go to the omap tab and thats where you can overclock your processor.

Ok so the BatteryStatus issue is fixed so no need for that but #1 still open. I also found if I'm in File Explorer and select a sound or song file that opens in WMP, once you close WMP it also exits File Explorer. Any fixes there??

I know this is an old program with 4 and 5 out but someone has to remember how to do it with the "old" stuff! lol

Hello all. This is my first post here and I wanted to say I love aall the work that is put out. I am having a little trouble though. My wife has a wing and I just downloaded the biggie WM 6.1 with touchflo but I can get it touchflo to work. Everything else does so far but that wont come on. I went into TF settings and set it all up like the instructions say but I dont see anything to activate it. Can someone help me with this. I went thru almost every page of that thread and saw people saying to enable cube but when I did that I get no option to actually turn it on and set it up. Thanks anyone

Your going to need a registry editor to make any changes.

If your referring to a .tsk file you can just drop it into the windows directory. If your referring to your today screen wallpaper you can do that directly from the today settings....just browse for the image.

When I run the USPL program, I get the following errors, "The system can not find the file specified." This continues until the 100%.

I have also tried to remove the NBH file from the RUU folder and it continues to do the same thing. I have a Tmobile Wing.

Do you have a link to another one I can download? I have tried to download it from another location and there are no RUU folders inside. This is the case on two different computers. The name of the zipped file is called Flash Center.

Never mind. I see what I was doing wrong. Instead of extracting the files when I opened the zip file, I selected all the files inside of the zip file and copy and pasted them to another folder on the desktop.

It's working now.

It worked just fine on the "stock" ROM from T-mobile. I just wondered if I did something wrong. I guess I can't uninstall TCPMP and reinstall it since it was part of the ROM right? Any suggestions? Should I reflash it. I am also tempted to try some of his others.

That player worked, but I wish it worked via going to youtube. I get text messages and emails from friends telling me to click a link and that won't work since I need to do it from within. I'll try reflashing.

I got my Herald 1 weeks ago and the first day i had it i allready flashed it with this rom! Its Great!

After 2 days i tried Open Touch v4.0 Biggy Vista 2 but i didnt realy like it...
I didnt like the fact that i could not set the comm manager button to actualy open the comm manager.. :confused:
Also i could not connect with Wifi... even after re-flash ing it, it still didnt work.

So i decided to try Open_Touch_v5.3_Biggy but it was kind of the same as 4.0 and i didnt like the design of that one, the colorfull vista theme for example. And again no comm manager button.

Now i flashed it back to Open Touch v3.0 WM6.1 WinLive and installed a few cab. files to fix some bugs and in my opinion this one in the best rom for the Herald!

Stuff i installed with Open Touch v3.0:

WinCE CAB Delete Disable
Windows Live 10.6.33.0600 (doesnt add messenger contacts to phonebook)
Duprade AEKMap 1.3 keyboard fix

I was looking around for a winmo 6.1 rom for my wing and i was very excited when i found yours. It installed it right away and it seems to be working flawlessly so far. I just have one question. I'm personally not a big fan of the htc home plugin and would like to know if there is a way to have the home screen that windows mobile 6.1 is supposed to come with. If you cannot answer this question could you atleast point in the right direction. I would greatly appreciate it.
