first time help

can someone point me to the thread, if there is one that would have a step by step explanation of whats needed, or what do do to upgrade the verizon 6800, im pretty technically competent, but this is the first time playing around with a smartphone. list of files, and what other things are needed and what exactly to do with them...

I was just thinking the same thing, with the un-locker, and seperate radios needed, I'm just hoping I can find a contiguous thread that I can start with.

I know the feeling. I remember the first time I did a flash on my phone. It was the Apache. After a few tries you will be a pro.

I think the following thread is the best you will see. Has links to the unlocker, the radio and a rom.

Next is the current ROM I am using. GPS works awesome with it. Its also preloaded with all the apps I need.

i read a few things about making sure you have the right, new versions of all the stuff...if i have things right, for a verizon phone, is there a quick step by step checklist of what to do in what order? was there a specific post on that thread u were pointing us too? or do i need to read through all 13 pages?

thanks alot...just to clarify, code means the radio? so if im using radio 3.27, relocking isnt an issue? im going from the verizon rom it comes with, if you post again, also, is there one place that has links to all this software?

I have included links to all the software. For the roms, I have included a link to DCDs rom.
