Works good. Best if you install when you first flash the ROM.. or after a hard reset. A little more function than the 6.1 threaded SMS as it shows the amount of characters. It has a today plugin also..

when typing sms, the keyboard will still block the sms right? That's the only issue I'm not going with palm sms thread.

Currently testing vito chat sms. Seems quite good.

MMS is working fine for me. both in and out of the program...

I would suggest using Vito SMS chat now. It's pretty good.
Hope they can resolve afew bugs with touchpal soon.

the initial rips [way back in 2006] of this required some bit of reg editing and wasn't really stable on my then TyTN [some sms still went into the old inbox], I used a Treo 750v for a few months and really enjoyed threaded sms/mms. Now I have a TyTN II and am starting to miss threaded sms/mms, is this new cab already ALL IN [meaning no more messing about the registry]??

for those having problems with the keyboard covering the area for text, try SIPchange and NullKB combo [use it on all my hardware keyboard equiped devices]. Both are pretty easy to find just do a search :D

Some people, like me, prefer using stylus for writing rather than using hw keyboard.

yea tried the file you posted.. MMS will not work from the kaiser/tilt from inside the palm app.. if it works for you could you please post the steps you used to make it work and maybe even a video of it working..

I resolved this problem by using Dutty's rom and then installing threadedsms.cab. Once installed you have to use the roms default MMS app which works perfectly.

I installed the palm app on the L26_Kaiser_Diamond_V5 (Hybrid 3.29.707) rom and the mms is working inside palm. I have only tranfered and recieved pics. My wife has a palm centro which may or may not have anything to do with it working. I will have to try sending someone else pics tomorrow to see if works with non palm phones. To say the least I am happy as this is a much nicer program than the arcsoft. :D

I installed when I had 3,000 or so text messages built up, and every time I restart my phone and go into this app it loads up 10 old messages as new messages IN order NON threaded.

It will take me probably 2 years to clear them all out.


How do I fix this??? I want to load them all now or delete them all. Purge doesn't work.

Does anyone know how to enlarge the font? when it is portrait, the ont size just quite fit. But when landscape, it is pretty small. So my point is, could the font size on landscape be enlarged? Thx.
