I was busy testing this out on different ROMs (6.0 & 6.1) before uploading.

Still can't get the server options screen to come up on 6.0 and 6.1 shows 5.0.31.2, however, if you want it before I can finish testing it, here it is:

EDIT: This was my experience using the stated ROM. You may get threaded sms, I didn't using my 6.0, however it did give me added features.

The MMS cab works fine on homebrew AT&T ROM based on 32mb PP ROM version 1.57.502.2 WWE.

The app sends & receives standard & multimedia messages. So far I have also successfully sent Voicemail Message. Haven't recieved one yet though as no one has tried & I only have my Tilt with me today.

So far though I haven't had any problems with the new Arcsoft 5. It did hang on me after the first reset when trying to send voicemail, however after a second reset it has been problem free.

Voice MMS yes. MMS Options looks like it's a part of the SMS application, along with Threading. So for that to work, looks like SMS needs to be ripped too. So I'd say my cab is somewhat useless for WM6...

I've got the same problem as everyone else.

I actually managed to change the mms settings via the registry... but nothing was happening :(

I believe you need to have a WM6.1 ROM. This seems to be the determining factor.

My girl who moved out of state for a job and I mms each other pictures everyday.. so this sucks :( Since I can't move to where she is until May, we send each other pics via mms throughout the day ... so I need to solve this! we should start a pool of cash for the person who figures this out!!

I use the Schap's ROM v4.31...
Is it better to make an OEM package with the cab, and then cook it with Schap's ROM ?

I did try this on a WM6.1 Hermes ROM and no go on MMS. Can't access the settings nothing. Bummer I was hoping to get MMS/SMS threaded o well..

Hello guys, I tried on artemis (Tom's B&B 5.0 / WM 6.1) and I can create MMSes but have no way to configure a server, the messages just stay in my outbox folder. I already have threaded MMSes.
After the install I got a message telling me the program was made for a previous version of windows and could display not properly.
Hope it can help.

Ok I can make new server settings but after I make them I cannot modify them. I have tried to change the registry settings and found there was no dword EnableServerEdit so I made one and made the value 1. I then did a software soft reset and still cannot edit the server I added. Has anyone had luck being able to change the server settings? Thanks in advanced

That 5_0_31_16 is a cab I made. Identical down to the AT&T specific registry changes and the order of files and the removed help file. Anyways, check post 5 in the link below for 5_0_31_19 and the missing dll's that let you play video within Arcsoft.

interesting...I have arcsoft 5.031.16 and it works just fine on stock TMO ROM (HTC P4350). I stumbled across this thread when doing a search because my
I just had a hunch that I was missing some features. Just for info,
I can access settings - (server, size etc). But I don't have threaded sms,
which suits my preference perfectly fine. I do like the flag and voicemails features tho.

i have an HTC touch.
i just installed arcsoft mms 5.0.31.7
and i can now send pics easily!
but i can not recieve any pictures!
i tried sending my self a couple of pics and
it shows that it was sent successfully but i dont recieve anything!
what do i do?!

also, when i go to my sms/mms messages folder
and i go to "menu" then "mms options" and "server"
instead of sprint (my service) it has at&t and when i click on it to edit it the gateway says wireless.cingular.mms
is that a problem?
