According to a review on gsmarena.com
a) Paint starts to peel off very quickly
and that only After a week of use.
I am very worried. For that amount of money.
Can you , the owners of TC, please add your comments
Also
b) Display image quality is a bit disappointing and is practically illegible under direct sunlight

GSMarena has got a pre-production model...
It's almost been a week since I got mine, and there's no sign of any kind of erosion.
Regular usage, carrying it in pocket,...

I'm using mine from about 3 weeks and, at time, no paint problem.

I have a Pre-Production unit since November. No sign of this as a problem. Mine is used daily and kept in a belt-clip case.

I've read the review as well. The first thing that crossed my mind that is was just copied from another review of an HTC device. This is one of the few devices from HTC that seems very good when it comes to the paint job ;)

Regarding paint, I have mine for about a month and everything is OK.
Regarding display quality under direct sunlight, it's not very good.

It maybe better than P3600 but in comparison with last phones I had (N95 or K810), it's very bad.:)

sounds good that none of you have the paint peeling problem, that would have been one thing that keep me from buying this phone.
as for display under direct sunlight...just put it under your shirt, or find a shade!!! Not a big deal is it?

You're not serious are you? When you are on the run and need information or just even use the phone out in the middle of a major metro city during a work day (shirts are tucked in), quite a diffent scenario.

i have mine since january and i have no case and keep it in my pocket and no paint peel off.
plus it made with a rubber like and metal looking cover so there is no issue with paint.

Yes isn't the casing rubber-ish?

something like that. it has a nice feel to it. and nothing peeling off. as for direct sunlight, i admit it can be a bit tough to see if it's really bright out.
