2 versions on the market??

Hi everyone...

I just picked up my second HTC Touch Cruise (a.k.a. p3650, Polaris)

[by the way, i have sold it already, no propositions please]

I may be silly here, but the S/N and P/N on the two packages differ:

S/N
orignal starts: HT803GE
new: HT804GE

ALSO

P/N
original: 99HDZ013-00
new: 99HDZo22-00


just noticed this too .....

by barcode on box:

original: 90H01163-00M Rev.A
new: 90H01163-05M Rev.A

that is all that i can tell is different from the outside... obviously i cannot open it as it does not belong to me....


could it be that one is a Nordic version, and the other a UK version? (i thought they would be the same one....)

i would imagine this means no one knows, if they are shipping an updated version or not already...

maybe we could start a thread with Part numbers and such (with revisions) to see what is out there

My electronic IMEI is different than that on the box it came in and that printed inside the battery compartment!!

Not the same thing I know but could be a cause for concern
