I have a problem that is hardware related I think, but woull like to know if anybody knows a software work around.
I have orange spv m600, unlocked which is exhibiting rather straneg charging behaviour. The orange/amber comes on even though nothing is plugged in - and when you look at the battery momitor it is pulsing up and down as if the charger is plugged in! The problem began with the original Orange shpped ROm installed - I have since flashed 2 wm6 Roms & 1 WM6.1 but still the same problem.
I found something on the Wizard forum suggesting a registry key change (usb driver related) but this has not solved the problem either.
Can anybody point me in the direction of a workaround? Or is it possible to fix this through a hardware mod (voltage regulator chip?). If so, where would I source part(s) or has anybody got a bricked prophet they could canabalise for me...?
