Sound coming out from speakerphone and headset

Like I play a movie on TCPMP or some song in Windows Media, and I can hear the sound on my head set + on the speakerphone.

What's the point in listening to music with the headset when anyone can hear it.

Anyone experienced this problem and/or know the solution?

I have the same problem, can anybody know how to solve it?
I already try hardreset without success :mad: . Another think, if I restart the phone the bug disapear (for a time), but come back if I receive call or sms.

Any idea??

May be you must played with another player. I use Core Player and haven't problems with normal and BT headsets. Here link. Try it

Thank, I try with CorePlayer adn TCMP already, but always same fu****g bug, I think it's an OS bug, when I receive call or sms the sound start coming out from the speaker! :'( I'm desesperate....

I had the same bug with my Excalibur. It is no software bug, your headset contacts are not clean

gna, my phone is news :/ but may be I will investigate and try to clean contacts.....

EDIT: I think it's software bug too, because, why when a receive a call or sms, the sound switch between headset and speaker???

im having the same problem to. I cant listen to windows media player through headset. Sound is only coming out of speaker and I cant seem how to turn it over to the headset option. Calls seem to come through earpiece and will also work on BT.

there is no such bug in Vox.
If you still think it is a software bug flash your device with some other ROM and if you are lucky that might help.

I use it with a bluetooth headset and its perfect.

according to me this is a hardware issue, and you are entitled to HTC support (flash back HTC original rom before you give it to service) :D

I do the same and reboot my phone when I receive an sms (I investigate, the bug appear only when i receive sms)

This morning I bought a bluetooth stereo headset on Ebay, and I will try when I will receive it ( in 2 week).

Finaly I upgrade to Windows 6.1 ROM, and... No more bug
