can you kindly edit the first page with bigger and bolder fonts that would CLEARLY state that this rom is for ATOM/ATOM PURE only? I think some people are having a hard time to read the small fonts in the title.

Im also wondering why sonblack didn't use .NET 3.5 in this ROM.... hmmmmm maybe some incompatible apps I presume??? Another thing would be the TON's of 3rd party apps included if this is a clean ROM?

i think you can change it by replacing the icons on the dll which the icons.lnk point to... i think the name of the file is iconres.dll... you can change the icons using reshack(you can google it)

i used PDA viet (with WM 6.1 by medkid) and the sms sound seem a little low, i need to increase the sound, is there any registry value to edit that?.....tks again

This ROM looks like it has poblems with resiving files on BT. I tried on two different divices. Atom with mobile 6 reciving and sending(befor flashing to m6.1), m6.1 faild when i try to beam file.

are you sure that you download the correct rom and upgrade your device ? clear your computer temp files, clear the cookies and delete all files on c:\windows\temp directory and try again probably i understand that you are upgrading from that directory but with old files on there, and i am sure that before this rom you installed 0.72 that why its same

Hopefully this is my last ROM :D have tried many others but each were let down by bugs mainly with the Bluetooth and contacts (both of which i use a lot)...finally installed this Rom on Atom ... cleared out all the temp file as instructed and then copied all the files over to the temp file and can now see the Rom...:) and it looks good... But early days and hopefully works well as others have found... So first up would like to say...Great interface.. well done to PDAVIET... Son Black and Meraklinext

Last but not least I flashed with some concern the Pdaviet 6.1 ROM, I was impressed of the stability, speed, battery usage, selection of included programs and beauty of the user interface. GSM, WiFi and BT are working without failure. Only with this ROM I can make ActiveSync over Bluetooth and can make stabile BT connection to GPS.

PDAVIET ROM WM6.1 For ATOM/ATOM PURE with HTC HOME plugin is the best for me.

OK... full 29 hours with this Rom ... and cannot agree more with sattackus... homer285 were the most stable of any Rom and this one so far is on par with that... but the interface (eye candy :) in this Rom is a level above anything used before.... its works no drama's...

Yes in this Rom there is the HTC Home box under the path you have outlined... which is ticked but no option is available to disable any of the 6 icons on today screen. If i untick the box HTC home is disabled.. its no big deal but hopefully there is another place to edit

I installed this ROM yesterday. So far no any important bugs found. The only question is Program Memory. After soft reset I have free around 18 MB. After charging during the night I have only 13 MB left.

after a soft reset

Storage 14.47 program 20.33

device went into sleep mode while typing this (2 mins) and when awoke progam was 20.23 so would say WM 6.1 must reserve resources which may pay to do a soft reset every now and then... but my Atom is a very stable little device now... so will stick with it

after a week found a challenge...for some reason the today screen becomes very slow or sometimes non responsive. seems to be related to either wifi or data (email) downloads
when it happens selecting wireless manager from htc plugin does nothing, through settings/connections then select wireless and nothing... the system acts like it is running very low on memory .. and only a soft reset fixes (for a while) anyone else experincing?

Thanks sonblack and friends for providing this ROM... Loved using it.. was fast and had good features ...was working for about 5 days then keep experiencing what looked like BAD memory challenges. Today screen became non reponsive or took ages to load applications, contacts not show i.e no entries viewable... but would come back after a soft reset. (3 or 4 times a day)... Tried deleting any program i installed but no difference. if nobody else is expericencing these things it must be my Atom :(... so reflashed back to homer285 WM6 v7.2 and ... hopefully it will make calls on bluetooth & send emails until april which is upgrade time

Update... believe it or not all these challenges came about because i installed a 3200mAh battery(weeks ago) . Buttons, front, side and top stopped working correctly (did pull apart :) so though did not put back correctly) programs would not load except after soft reset. calls would freeze, bluetooth would not work correctly.... not an expert but would say the large battery became too hot and effected the Atom... as put the old standard battery back in and since then... all buttons work.. and programs load quickly... so back to this ROM tonight (hopefully for the last time) as it was a very well done effort

this ROM is once again working excellent on my Atom... all the challenges (slow performance constant resets) were from a battery and not the ROM... Re installed last night ....once again enjoying its stability and great look ...:)

And how does one go about deleting HTC HOME plugin manually?... Registry? I like to install a fresh one which can work with HH Customizer. I think the one which comes with this ROM is rather permanent... You can delete any of the tabs???
