I have a type 2a brick where it hangs on the the carrier boot screen. I followed the directions and installed windows 5.0 ce and using platform builder I sync my device and the screen stays white I left it run its full processes till it stopped. Yet my screen still hangs white. I soft reset the device and now it hangs on the Windows Mobile boot screen. So it did progress from its original problem. I havent had time to troubleshoot further. Just curious on what I can do. If anyone has any suggestions please share.

If your screen hangs in white screen - delete ril.dll . Must be work. After complete boot don't forget to run sspl-hermes.exe from card . Next step flash a complete original carrier rom (os +radio) , after this - hardspl7 and after flash what you want. Good Luck!

Okay. So I managed to make it through the original HTC Q-tek 1.18 rom. It still freezes at the windows mobile boot. Any ideas!?!?!?!? I reconnected it to PB and it booted fine. Once it was fully booted I disconnected it and it was working fine. Flashed hardsplv7 and managed to get shamanix 2.1 and now its froze on the windows mobile boot screen again. Im going to run through the process again to see if I can fix it.
